Sounds like it is coming to earn fragments but I am willing to bet that if you don't get fragments from those events you can probably get enough from other ones. 

If they keep all the previous ways and this is just on top of them as an extra way then it doesnt matter really, but if its shoehorned in to replace something then its an asshole move, iron twins being a harder side of content for many players.

not realy cuz we can aleady skip 1 summons rush there are 2 of them so if i need to skip soulstone rush ill still be stuck on one summons rush that means i need to spend money nope that wont work for me lol oh well champs latly are not worth any ways ill just start to pull more lol

You can only skip Summon rush if you win some additional fragments from tournaments....so it is basically a forced 'pay to finsih' move of Plarium if they include soul stone summoning into the fusions.

I think this is likely the intention, it remains to be seen how difficult the points requirements will be.  With hydra, IT, events I think I accumulate soulstones faster than ancients. 

Now if the little stones are as low value as ancients in a rush...

But I'm sure we will see soon enough. 

Then we will certainly have 2x, 10x at some point? I think this would increase sales more.
