the aim is u dont want to put anyone tanky on ur team (someone u cant nuke out) use a speed lead like high khatun so u get first turn and a 2nd tm booster on the team so u get a full nuke attempt vs them before they even take a turn, you can also use a shield set on one of ur champions, ur team will get the shield buff, ur clones will not.
ive still no clue what i am doing yes i sound dumb i know i just dont get it !!!
dont get frustrated, its probably one of the most tricky bosses you will face, try to build a nuke team for it (a nuke team is where you have a speed boosting lead role such as high khatun, and another turn meter booster, then the other champions you add bring big damage who can nuke ur clones out before they can even take a turn, ur ronda for example) dont put champions like drex/rector/death knight/scyl in ur team because they are going to be hard to nuke out fast.
long story short try and nuke out ur clones before they can even take a turn, makes the boss much easier to deal with.
and also others have said when you get to the 2nd round on the boss level, dont use any spells, save all ur TM boosts and nuke out spells ready to throw straight at ur clones (so the spells are not on cooldown when you get to boss)
Fortunately Dark Fae only comes around every 4 rounds in DT, it is nigh impossible for most to understand what to do even if someone tells you. All you can do is line up your champs in cue and try them all or at least those that can make it thru the first 2 waves. Try the champs the guides suggest, but no guarantees.
You are either fortunate to have the champs and speeds, etc that will work, or you don't. If you are stuck on L40 or 80, just kick back and catch the next round, there are always plenty other things to do in the game.
I can only agree. Even following all the advice here - using recommended champions, skill preset etc - I only managed do defeat her once yesterday and barely at that. Seems putting on shield artifacts made the difference. Tried to farm her with exactly the same team and again loose every time. I can't get past the clones anymore. So I'm moving on.
yeah i give up can,t beat it its just bloody pissing me off .
Think of it like an Arena speed race, but since we're going up against our very own team we don't want our clones to be too tanky, especially with revivers who when brought back as clones will completely ruin the fight.
The idea is we want to wreck our clones, then move onto turn meter controlling the boss if possible.
Could you show us your roster in panoramic view, similar to this:
But showing us your whole roster instead. Thanks :)
rosters like that make me sick, with all the champs the game will NOT give me, and I have been playing several years
In your picture, the only ones I have are Scyl and UDK. That is why I don't bother with things I cannot do. On other days, with other rounds, I can beat DT.
If I had your champs I would food mine.
You want to either:
1. kill the other team quickly
2. stop the other team from moving
From your roster, Ninja and Yakarl both come with AoE freeze, so if you can use them to move fast and freeze your clones you can then follow through with damage from a nuker such as Ronda or Genbo - more ideal if you have an AoE defence breaker to come before them. If you need a healer, maybe use Scyl, but make sure she moves after everyone else so your clones can't use her passive to heal.
I solved this riddle just last week. The key is to have a good damage team that is really squishy with one solid healer. I wish you had Ursula. That makes it really easy because you can rez your whole team if they die. Do not use auto attack. Through the first two rounds just use your primary attacks. Once you get to the boss you always get to go first. Blow up the healer and then take down the team.
If you can block buffs throw that out because, just like in non-live PVP the other team will still do their skills that buff their team only to have them blocked wasting their turn.
As soon as ,Fae rezzes someone kill it and then go back to killing Fae.
Okay, from what you have shown in your roster, here's my recommendation:
Drexthar in the Lead, Scyl, Ninja, Genzin, and Candy. Scyl or Ninja the fastest with their AOE crowd control skill at the ready going into Fae. You don't want a heavy defense or HP team. ACC Boost from Drex will help land the Stun or Freeze. None of the AOE skills should be used in stage 2, opening in 1 should be fine, but don't use them again until stage 3 against Dark Fae. Auto attack is fine, just set up your AI to do this.
Something like...
HK/Geo/Yakarl/Ninja/perhaps another turn meter champ like Archmage, would want HK into Yakarl/Ninja clearing the clones, cycling turn meter reduction from HK/Geo/Yakarl.
Though I worry about our gearing, as Ma'Shalled looks quite slow so I am wondering what the rest of our champs look like here, regardless of the route we go.
