Folks who have full rosters, G4 level tag rosters etc. are going to be underwhelmed by a lot of fusions if they have unrealistic expectations, i.e. every fusion is Pythion/Rat level. Full disclosure: I skipped Oella and am skipping this fusion, just need a break sometimes

Supreme Elhain sees some arena play, Oella at the least has a place in a high end Hydra comp or two and Razelvarg is quite good in hydra/cb

Of course if you have the aforementioned arena teams set up, have your 1 keys on hard through nm hydra then you're unlikely to care much about the recent fusions.

the counterpoint would be in the last year or so we've gotten: pythion, rat, ukko, dreng, heli, bivald and gaius. morri is solid, great in the Fae farming role for those of us who don't have Lys

I think @dthorne04 said it. It's about expectations.  We had a great run of awesome champs so expectations rose. but a year ago expectations were pretty low because what we were getting was not great..,  the wheel keeps spinning.

well i got over half my clan not doing this one only about half did the bunny so with that said untill they stop with this they will loose money all of us are whales but we wont spend on just ok champs!  so go look in the clan shop that champ hits harder than the new one lol so expectations for now is palruim is loseing money even most youtubers are skiping lol

Well, I'm absolutely not a whale. But I'm skipping this one and several of the past few.  I think it's unteslistuto expect every new fusion to top the previous.  Not every fusion is aimed at me ( or you),

No reason to skip when it takes no effort to get.

Well, skipping just means no effort input.

if I wake up tomorrow and have the frags, that's points in the next chase I do go for.

I put every bit of that energy into Sand Devil so far.

Either way I'm still spending my resources though.

its not about making good champs its about making money. a newchamp comes out and its a crap shoot wether its any good or not. they dont make them all good to make sure you keep buying cuz you might miss out on a good one but still get a legend out of. all your friends are like new champ is bad ass and u miss your going to puff smoke

I have not reached the level where I can do every fusion.  I have to pick and choose to allocate resources.  If every fusion was godlike it would drive me crazy, not being able to participate.

definitely not @harleQuinn, nope. 

granted, I think the later you are the less likely you'll be to skip fusions, at least because of a resource crunch.

however, with the amount of content to run to progress accounts now I think it's fine to skip fusions from time to time.
