This has happened before with Pythion in Hydra.
What is the best method to block their block revive? I dont see that debuff showing on Pythion. How would it last for over 50 rounds?
Probably happened with your champion being consumed rather than dead, which means you can't get them back.
The best method to not have to deal with block revive is don't let your champs die to block revive effects, otherwise you're out of luck (save for instances like Lydia's passive bringing back champions who've had block revive effects kill them)
It wouldn't be a debuff that shows up on Pythion, either. That effect would go on the champion who was killed by a block revive champion.

How do I keep Pythion alive then? What stats or gear will do that?
Thanks for the explanation.

Block revive isn;t a debuff, it's simply a skill some champions have. Check who you're fighting to see whether it's a passive or active skill and consider bringing someone who can shut the relevant one down, ie, Ronda for passive, Lugan for active, etc.

I have Ronda. She has an A2 with 3 turn cooldown if booked but the debuff only lasts for 2 turns. She is single target and with other champs to attack her chances are slim.
I dont have any of the AoE champs for block actve/passive skills. Am I semi out of luck until I get an AoE blocker?
I am confused how the champ who can block Pythion from reviving can keep that active for 50+ rounds.

block revive doesn't prevent pythion from using his a3, it prevents champions killed by the skill (in the case of floor 16, mortu-macaab's peril) from being revived. if that kills them, they're out of the fight for good (barring lydia's passive). the reason pythion never uses his a3 is that he requires a valid target for it and champions that cannot be revived aren't valid.
looking at floor 16 specifically, there are two champions who can block your champion's revival. mortu is almost certainly the one causing you trouble, but luria's a2 also has that ability. either way, ronda should be ably to solve your problem. if you can keep luria from getting a turn via cc or just steamrolling her, use ronda's a2 to lock out mortu. otherwise, use it on luria first and don't use any aoe or random target attacks. since mortu can only use peril when his passive unlocks it and his passive only triggers when he's attacked, you can avoid it by just not attacking him until ronda's a2 is available again.
An alternative approach would be to simply use a very tanky team with a HP lead and even shields, that can take the damage without dying. Miscreated Monster, Brogni, Noct, Pythion, Klodd, Vorgoth, Duchess, all come to mind. With no nukers it might be a slow level, but faster than having to repeatedly play with different teams. :)
Actually, that was odd - just watched the end of a NM CB battle, and saw Pythion revive 2 of 4 dead allies. Might be worth the developers checking out if anything has been changed with Pythion as well.
this take place around turn 51-53 by any chance? cb gains block revive on all his attacks starting at turn 50, so he might have killed the two champs who got revived before then and the other two after.

This isn't actually true. Block revive is indeed a debuff. However, unlike all other debuffs, it doesn't require accuracy to land, and it cannot be blocked by block debuffs.
It *can* however be deflected by Yumeko passive, and, while I haven't confirmed this, I would expect that the champ who it is deflected to, if they get killed, will not be revivable.

I will have to run this floor and similar battles on manual?

Pythion losses his revive ability on Hydra and DTH. He is not on my CB teams.
