Thoughts:

I am sure there is no chance this login legendary will cause any arguments. 

QoL updates look incredible, especially mobile players. 

Not quite sure how I feel about the new set as of yet. Theoretically should work well in Hydra, some fringe situations where I'm trying to stack RES in Arena but the latter application seems thin to me.

Some of these qol updates have been in the works and touted for a while.  Glad they are immenent.

never say no to a 7 day log in champ. But I satarted a day late and can't get them for free! FML!

for a two piece set, this is clearly desirable gear.

The QoL thing is basically going to mean I'll never ever run out of silver again, lol. Not like I'm in any danger of it to begin with, but man all that trash to dump is gonna be sweet.

As for the set, is there something I'm missing here? It seems to be one of the absolute best 2-piece sets in the game. Very margnially lower speed than a speed set, but with the full benefit of the resistance set tagged on?

Yeah, I think this is where I'm going as well, just comparing it to the other 12% speed sets and I'm fine losing ~1 speed for what is effectively a double/triple RES roll.

Yep, yep, yep, yep, yep!  I'll lose 2% speed for 40% res any day.

Sucks for us non forge pass buyers though 😕

But makes sense, more catchup gear for n00bs. Obviously top end gets "topper" but that's well beyond me anyways. 

Can we get a text version of the update for the old school non video watchers...

Yea I'm not buying forge pass either. But I do keep the few decent pieces I get in hopes of having a full set of one of those sets at some point.

Yes, this is one of the best sets ever. Something like the analogue of perception for non-acc champs.

The important thing is that stats are fungible. Unless you're going for absolute top end builds with 800 acc or 350+ speed, then you'll always be able to shuffle around useful stats. What matters is how many raw extra stats you get to work with.

This set is worth about 6 substats per pair, or 3 substats per piece. That's 3 extra levels of rarity over a mismatched set! Fortitude is at 2.75 (the best "raw stat" set up to now), perception is 2.5, and speed is way down at 1.2.

I'm not an arena enthusiast, but I predict that for PvE content, resistance builds will become more common, at least on supports/healers.

Definitely going for this forge pass. I was on the fence about defiant. This is better I think.

Why do I always feel like I am 3 steps behind the game.  About the time, I begin to feel comfortable, I realize how much I dont know.  lol

What QoL helps with silver? Feel like I missed something in the update 

As it turns out I was somewhat wrong. I thought it'd give me a way to reasonably manage and sell artifacts. It doesn't. At least the autobattle filters will help, though.

It's been suggested the new login champ will be the dwarf in the trailer. In which case, because it's attacking the Dragon and comes with a perception set I presume this means it must be more of a debuffer than damage dealer, presumably dealing poisons.
