Or, quite simply, they may just not be very good. Your screenshot, for example, demonstrates that your opponent doesn't really understand how to build teams. Zargala has absolutely no purpose on that team, and Brago doesn't do enough on his own to win fights.

That is what i thought when i saw its draft. Itºs just weird because most lv 100 have a meta team, so it feels like its on purpose 

It's also entirely possible their account was *cough* gifted *cough* from a "friend" so its an inexperienced player with a level 100 account.

You can gift accounts? Isnt it banneable? 

With regards to gifted accounts: strictly speaking, no. You will see content creators do giveaways but I would strongly encourage players to only play with their own accounts rathern than alternatives. I fear Short was being a bit of a low effort troll, unfortunately. 

Purchased accounts are strictly against ToS, however. 

i fig its because they never realized you had to set up defensive team or they forgot maybe even they want to see if they get exp but i think its fodder for clan mates or sumtin

or maybe just maybe they dont care much about live arena ? Get the easy win and skip the rest ? Its not because someone reached lvl 100 that they need to be insane and pawn you everytime ? 

Same happens in classic and tag arena ... just take the easy win and enjoy ... idk how many live arena i made sure to lose because i felt like giving handouts while learning how to draft and ban properly ! :P

When  you have reached the top, no place to go.  So they are letting you win.  They do not need the gear you are wanting so letting you have at it.

This is the most likely and serious explanation.

Level 100 just means you've used enough energy and completed enough dailies to be level 100. As the game ages we'll see more 100s just like this. I see folks in the in game chat that are in the high 90s+ talking frequently about not being able to clear normal Doom Tower.

Could be bots.  Supposeldy if you lose multiple in a row, you get a bot team, but that might just be the conspiracy theorists spreading rumors.

Zero doubts in my mind there are bots in the live arena though.

I find it hard to believe that a lv 90 account cant clear Doom Tower. It needs to have immesurable bad luck in draws to not be able to create a more or less competent roster to clear it. I mean, i donºt even have bombers and i cleared bommal.

Okay, a bit of info. Account level isn't decided by accomplishments or successes in the game.

Account level is decided by two things: 1) XP gain by using energy and 2) the little XP bonuses you see in daily quests. So someone could use energy repeatedly failing some dungeon and they'd level up. The only thing you need to do to gain XP in Raid is use energy... the only thing that gives player XP after that are the little XP bonuses.

Although it's a neat though, I would HIGHLY doubt someone is letting you win. It would be a huge waste of time to sit and load up Live Arena and actually fight through the fights just to let someone win. If you really really wanted to do that, wouldn't you just leave the fight during champ selection or even right as it loaded?

i think ive found the answer....

Theres a youtube/discord rumor that if you loose 3 times, next battle is a - BOT with random basic avatar, no clan and will ban your first champion. 

The rumor is there now a couple of days so everyone who is curious is loosing 3 times in a row on purpose to check if its true. 

Ive done it myself and i think its only  a rumor. 

HAHAHAHH that would be funny as hell if it was true. A morale boost from plarium to heal butthurted people like me
