I'm thinking the original cheese.  Nightmare campaign.

edit: where else have you ever cheesed with him?  Players have always brought Rotos/Genbo, or have been brain dead.  Me included.

Definitely gets clapped a fair amount in Arena, but like Angwil said the usual place is NM Campaign. I do believe it's possible to cheese Spider for awhile with Paragon, I'd have to look that up though. 

Yep. a guy in my clan uses that strategy.

Also, I regularly paragon cheese for a couple of high DT hard levels to counter mortu's peril

Mortu Peril target in 12-7 NM, precisely how moored rat described using him but in NM campaign instead. There's some guides on it on YouTube, often Paragon + Tayrel but there are a good chunk of substitutes that can be used in Tayrel's place.

Is there any specific stats u must have on paragon to be targeted by peril?

Low hp and def. Paragon is a champ that is arguably better if he is not maxed.

This video does a nice job explaining it (including stats) but as long as paragon keeps low HP/DEF then Mortu will always try to ping him to death.
