It seems indeed, as if Phantom Touch is a problem with bloodshield rings. I just tested it, brought two champs with these rings to the Scarab, one champ with Phantom Touch, one without. The champ without phantom touch never got counterattacked, the other got counterattacks when Phantom Touch occured.

I don't know what the problem of your Armiger is. Can you describe the situation?

There has to be some damage source that the game considers to trigger before you get the shield. Phantom touch is one (had this problem recently too), but there might be others?

So, the real problem is my geomancer. Regardless of of phantom touch he is getting counterattacked everytime and screwing the whole thing up. But I absolutely need him to make the boss dead. Le bummer. 

I think Scarab is one of the few bosses where Geomancer is not in the top tier. Armiger prevents the Scarab from getting turns, Geomancer needs to be attacked to do his retaliation damage. That doesn't fit.

Do you have Metalshaper (Lizardmen, rare) and any champ who destroys enemy max hp, for example Vlad or Scrapper? My Scarab team, for example, is Metalshaper, Vlad, Armiger, Visix, Soulbond Bowyer. Metalshaper for shields, Vlad damage/reduce max hp, the other 3 champs for turnmeter reduce. Easy going and fast, reducing the max hp is so powerfull vs. this boss.

FWIW, my DTH Floor 100 Scarab team does indeed use Geomancer. Full team is Brogni + Mithrala + Aniri + Doompriest + Geomancer. Only Doompriest has a Bloodshield ring, and nobody is in a Destroy set. I don't bother with the maxhp destroy.

If Geo wasnt getting countered I would have it dead easy. It really messes everything up. He fits perfectly and deletes the boss once I strip the shield. 

You misunderstand the strategy. The entire reason why it works is specifically *because* he gets countered. My team is essentially immortal. The counterattack causes the boss to take damage, which is how he dies.

That is very nice for you, this thread is about why my ring isnt working. Not how you can kill things with five incredibly strong champs. My strategy requires not getting countered.

Hi there, please share screenshots of your Armiger, as well as his masteries. And your Geo too pls, since you say he is the problem. Can you share what blessing you have on him as well?

You said the problem with your strategy was Geomancer, and I described a team which uses Geomancer and works perfectly fine. Not sure why that warrants a hostile response, but so be it.

I see the images of these characters are from the mavel movies, and I
think it is very similar to the characters in the game of the android apps  
site that I downloaded. 

I got everything to work and killed HT 100 Scarab King. Tyvm for your concern.
