I finally realized the importance of holding resources and am keeping 20k silver, 2k gems in the bank and holding books, brews, and potions https://mobdro.bio/ . I can't figure out how many champions I should have leveled in the bank to save up for champ training tournaments/events.
Remember: tournaments give points for booking champs, events don't.
As for food total: I keep 75 x 3* food and 25 x 3* lvl 30 food ready, to quickly create 5 x 5* food to 6* a champ.
Also, I presume that's 20 million silver and not 20k. :D
There is no definite answer to this question. It depends on the number of potions, wich can make high lvl food champs quick, and gems, wich can be turned into energy, wich can make new food champs in campaign.
In general, I would allways keep food champs at max lvl and rank them up and use them during champion training.
