Just pulled Helicath during the Ancient 2x - would love some help in building my "final" CB team

I've been running NM consistently, and I'm really trying to get into hitting UNM on a consistent basis. One thing to mention is that due to my Clan's strength and the time zone difference, I will never ever be able to run Void affinity UNM. It will almost always be the random affinity. 

I was kinda originally hoping for a Seeker so I could run the Myth Heir comp, but raid had other plans for me. 

Right now, the comp I run is a ally protect / increase defense team, using

  • Sepulcher
  • White Dryad Nia
  • Anchorite 
  • Gnishak
  • Rhazin

Gnishak was pretty game changing for me as far as damage dealers go, so I'd love to still use him in the next comp I run.

Helicath + Demytha should be enough to give you an unkillable team. Pretty sure someone in my clan has a tune around that, I'll see if I can find it for you.

Look up Mythtower team (Demytha + Roshcard) and substitute Roshcard for Helicath. I think mine is:

Helicath 247-248

Demytha - 174

Doompriest - 186

DPS1 - 176

DPS2 - 177

K here's my first stab at it. I'm using https://deadwoodjedi.com/speed-tunes/super-charged-hellcat/ , and specifically, https://deadwoodjedi.info/cb/263af4850292c62750d6e184d1842cb5dd7512ac

The specific two DPS champs I chose were arbitrary - Rhazin and Orn seemed to offer useful skills, but you can put whoever you want in those two. In terms of delays, there's only a 1-turn delay on Demy A3. It is a bit tricky to make work, since for the first two stuns you don't have block debuff coverage, so you might need to fiddle around with who the team lead is, to make sure none of Heli, SS, or Demy get stunned.

I noticed on Deadwood Jedi it has tower at 248 and above you have Helicath at 240 - any particular reason for the difference?

No, Sepulcher cannot be used in this role, because her A2 is on a 4-turn CD. Use Doompriest instead. That leaves you two spots for DPS.

Gnishak is also a bit suspect - you need to make sure that his double turn doesn't mess things up by losing the blockdamage or blockdebuffs.

But the above is having Sepulcher going on a 4:3 at 229 speed. Everyone is synced by Turn 6, with there possibly being a touch of concern for Stun #2 (Turn 6), as SS wouldn't have taken her 4 turns in that time. 

Gnishak also uses his 2 turn during the first AOE, with Helicath casting Block Damage at the final slot of the round. This should be just fine, right?

In fact, I'm pretty sure it should be completely fine, I messed with it a touch: 

On row 1, Sepulcher casts her A2 on the end of turn 2. Everyone will have block debuffs for the stun turn. SS then gets to cast her A2 on the stun round (turn 5), and everyone should be fine there. Turn 6 everyone syncs up, with SS and Gnishak both taking their double turns during this round. Helicath finishes the round by casting block damage and everyone should be UK from there on out.

So just to be clear, because there's a few comps that have been thrown around in this thread. Which one are you using as the basis for your team? Make sure you change the affinity in your comp to green, because things change considerably when the speed down enters the picture.

Alright Kram, this looks easy enough with Doompriest and Helicath. This comp also works for Nightmare and UNM, whereas the speed tune I tried above wouldn't have been very NM friendly.
