The cost to combine into superior potions is ridiculous.
I think I have 8000ish greater and still occasionally farm the keeps to get superior instead of spending silver.

I had to learn that the hard way when I almost missed a fusion because by the time I got all Epics ascended, I had no silver left to fuse the legendary.
Look at the bright side: at least ascension itself is free.

At least there is no RNG invovled.....imagine using 10 potions and 100K silver and the prompt reads "failed".

lol, I guess I see it but i don't. On one hand I have 1000s of minor:/greater. The only time I farm keeps is after a traditional fusion. Most likely I could save a lot of energy by spending silver. Just not worth it! So yeah I guess I'm making your point for you.
ps- the only time I use the mixer is for the advanced. meaning it costs me little. On the other hand I have a crud pile of useless lessor/greater.

Ok, I'll give you my strategy straight, which is not based on any numbers, just my own level of willingness to put any thing into it.
If I have 50 each affinity superior and 75 arcane superior, I ignore it. I completely ignore the number of leasor/greater I have. After, was it Gnishak? I had 7 superior spirits, I've spent an hour or so a few days rebuilding. I absolutely know this IS NOT optimal,resource management. But I think I'll be ready for the next fusion.
I do get your point. I'm leaving tons of resources on the table because the conversion rate isn't even worth calculating :)
