Is "UDK hate" still a thing since Ronda pretty much shuts him down?
😁
I just noticed... he was in Stonskin as well.
Wow...
Less so on the forum, but certainly in the official Discord server. The issue - other than the visual bug making UDK appear to be an unkillable menace - tends to be what it always was: gearing, team choices, or a combination of both.

Exactly....all we've been telling them all this time: build the right team and gear them out right. Did they listen? No, they cried and talked s*** to people trying to help them.

It doesn't seem as bad, but it was bound to go away once people learned how to play the game anyways. Like DT said, it was never UDK, it was players who couldn't be bothered to learn fundamentals of the game.
My experience has been that any team that shuts down buffs or healing will eventually get him down. If he's on the team with a res champ, shutting down his passive is even more effective for nukers. It's not limited to this of course.
I still would like to point out that new players don't have the tools to do that straight away. So you'll have a lot of new players running their face into a wall at the beginning over the 7/10 teams with UDK they see in bronze leagues per refresh. I admit I don't know how bronze is right now. It's a bit over a month since I saw it last.
If new players were made aware of the "new player promos" it would be so much easier for them to deal with him. They'd still have to level and gear a lot, but at least they'd have the tools to do so.
By the way. I know Ronda is awesome against him, but she's also only a temporary champ.
