To clarify - my facetious point was meant to illustrate that speed is a stat Leorius needs absolutely none of. Of course it's unlikely you'll actually get *zero* speed on items, but for example, you probably want to use ATK% boots on him.
As for buff removal - look at it this way. Having speed will be unlikely to get you around anyone who actually is trying to remove buffs, and for anyone who isn't trying to remove buffs, even a modicum of resist should be more than enough to prevent, as in your example, Arbiter from removing it.
Got it, I guess I'll invest into some RES, instead. The reason I was wondering is because that's exactly how I deal with him. My Arbiter has 250-ish accuracy just from substats, so Skullcrowns and Leos are usually stripped. I don't plan on using him in defense, but I was planning on coming after some speed teams and Arbiter's strip was concerning.
I actually made mine pretty fast so if my team goes first I never get cut in on. Definitely sacrificed damage, but he hits hard enough and if you open with a3 he is dropping that fear letting you go again and finish off stragglers if needed.
Either way would work though.
A use Konstantin as a main nuker for my speed team. He's not fast, but Maulie and Ragash usually buy him enough time to set up his nukes.
