save what you have for down the road.  You have no chance, rven spending real money.  Play for awhile and see how things go.  Took me 9 or 10 months to do my first fusion.  I'm a bit casual player and some have success sooner than me.  But 30 days in, build up first.

1) I save six months. This is enough for 2-3 fusions. If you don't make mistakes. experienced players will tell different time, but I don’t focus on them ... I’ve been playing for a year +
2) Now you need to save, not open the shards, do not waste your energy. you won't have enough now.
3) Choose well which heroes you will collect.

4) I recommend save blue shards for a garant. Open either on the garant or fusions. I open green...on fusions.
But every time look what a hero - maybe he's bad.

it is difficult for a beginner to get lega in addition to visiting rewards. see there 0.5% from the shards? this is for the lucky ones.

If you are willing to spend this is a godlike champ that can jump start you in the game.  But check with the more experienced players before you start spending.  

Dont listen to this Plarium employee in disguise trying to get you to spend money. The good thing about power creep is there will be even better like champions coming down the line. To keep the whales and krakens interested they keep having to make bigger and better champions, so just save up for the next ones coming.
