keep them until you have a reason not to. it's very unlikely that you'll ever find a use for any of the rare souls, but there's no harm in hanging on to them until you either need the coins or start to run out of space in your soul collection.
I have been hoarding until I need the coins or have to clear space to open a new batch.
Agreed. None of those rares are worth keeping. Better to have even a couple essence you can put towards a soul purchase over those.
None? that's debatable. For the miniscule resell value, if there are any rares you think you will use, might as well awaken them (think DT secret rooms for instance, or Muckstalker, or other ones with any niche use). +300 attack or defense on them... why not?

meh, not really. they're all pretty garbage-y rares that you're very unlikely to use for secret rooms or faction wars. to get value out of those souls you're going to have to invest resources in these very bad rares that represent little to no value for almost all accounts. we're going to be better off moving gear around to do those secret rooms rather than wasting our currency by not selling bad rares.
i think this outlook towards awakening currency in general is where there's a disconnect for a lot of players, trying to eke out as much value as you can with those resources really is the play. for the most part we're trying to get epics and - especially - legendaries invested in, not so much in rares.

Year old bot necro coming out of the woodwork 0_0
I use to sell all my rares. now I regret having done that
Some of those awaken rooms in Sintranos cursed city where I wish I had another champion with like 4-6 souls on it to make up the remainder required for that room
I keep 4 star or higher souls for rare now or at least take a second look at them.
But for my account generally sell all 3star or less rares. If your not running Sintranos cursed city that hard then do not worry and sell them rares
Thats my 2 cents worth of opinion
😠
somewhat timely bot necro given that now you're gonna want to keep a bunch of 2-4* rare and epics for Sintranos, very different than my advice a year ago 😂
Yeah, I've hit a wall on a couple of ascended stages 'cause I just don't have enough soul stars for champs from eligible factions
If you delete a soul for a certain champion, for example, Pain Keeper. Is it true that I can never get a soul for Pain Keeper again? That is the way I read it. I deleted a bunch of them in the begining and am now worried that I'll never get a chance to resoul some of these champions that I may need in the new content.

you can get them again, but the instance of the particular soul you sold is gone.
