Similar to the Potions when playing level 20 where you get Greater and Superior potions, why then when playing the highest level of Dragon (25), why are we getting crappy Rare artifacts, particularly lots of 5* Rare? What a waste of energy. I'm getting better gear when running Dragon 24. Just seems a little rediculous IMHO!
Well, it's just like playing poker. In a blue moon you may pull a straight flush. Even an ace high (royal) straight flush. But 90%:of the time you're lucky to pull a pair. What do you remember? The one time you pulled a royal, or the 999 times you pulled trips?

I have to say after running 50 multi battles on Dragon 25, I received 38 5* Rare artifacts, which only 3 were worth keeping. Now this may be like playing poker, but Plarium really needs to get their S**T together to make it worth using all the energy points for the level.
Disappointed! But what's new.
If you find 24 better personally, then that's what you should run.
After ten thousand or so runs, I prefer 25 myself. Looking for the tiny bit better percentage of higher rarity 6 star artifacts, and the bit of extra energy is worth for me. It's my daily rechargeable anyhow. :)
As your gear improves, eventually there will be no rare pieces at all worth keeping, and very few epics.
Running stage 25 instead of 24 gives you .6% more legendary drops per energy spent, 3.5% fewer epic drops and 14.5% fewer rare drops.
This is the first time I've explicitly looked at these stats. I'd say that at least for spider, stage 24 is clearly better because those extra items are worth a lot of silver. But for something like ice golem, which I'm running for reflex gear only? Screw the silver, I'll take the extra high-end gear.
