Just removing the stupid quest would be a good solution. Why does all game content, called as "end game" by the creators themselves, has to get it's own daily quest? 

Or, just a suggestion, put out all possible advanced quests each day, but change the "fulfill all advanced quests" to "fulfill 10 advanced quests" (wich is the actual number) and let the players chose wich they want to do. After 10 quests are done, the others get blocked automatically, so no extra rewards compared to now.

I agree that it's stupid, especially for early game. It shouldn't even be available until level 80 or something. If it's "endgame content", then that's how it should be treated, no?

The point about end game content is a good one - I can't complete Advanced Quests any more because I have to do 5 levels of the Doom Tower each day and I can't even do 1!

I agree it's not very helpful as an advanced quest.  Depending on which stage you can farm, if any, you may need to use around 120 or more energy to ascend an item.  E.g. if you could only beat s1, you may need to do 15 runs (without a defeat) to collect 60 oil.  That's a bit much for someone who at that stage probably doesn't even have a piece worth ascending.  Not to mention the time.  I suppose the response is you are not yet ready for the content and should accept the futility of completing the quest.

That said, I did get speed on my arb's speed set speed boots on my first ascended item.  Ain't I a stinker?

You only have to use 5 silver keys.  If you can beat the level 10 boss on normal, you just use 5 keys repeating that.  Can you beat the first boss on normal?

edit; sorry, I noticed now you said you couldn't beat 1.  Start a thread and show the players here your roster.  I'm sure they can help you get to the first boss.

I don't normally make it a goal to complete the Advanced Quests every day.  Granted, I should and it would be nice.  I target specific rewards like FW keys, CB keys, gems, energy etc. and leave the rest to score on their own.  Having said that... as for assending artifacts... I'm subscribed to the HellHades Artifact Extractor which has an artifact rating system that you can filter artifacts/accessories wether equipped or not and value; godlike-to-bin. This tool makes it easy to look for the artifacts most worth assending for your whole account.  Burning oil one star at a time to meet the Advanced Quest target doesn't impact my account much as long as I remember to do it.

I do the ascension quest because I want the daily energy.  So far, I am doing it with oil the game gave to me.  Once, that oil is gone, I will join the rest of you to complain.  Its an overly advanced quest for too many players.  

I have too many energy needs to waste it on an overpriced glyph.  

Stage 7 is the most efficient one to get lesser oils (yes, even more efficient than stage 25!). You should be able to beat that stage in 2-3 minutes with any 5 well built champions, even completely ignoring the boss mechanics.

@Fathertron sorry about that, but every player goes through this. It is widely agreed that opening doom tower at level 40 is too early. You typically need a full team of level 60s to beat any doom tower stage. You'll have to live without advanced quests for a while.
