It's only.for 42k points and you need 124k to get the legendary. so it's more of a top-up, and as it's a chain offer will turn out to be an expensive one. 

Been around long?  There's really no event/tourny where the required resources can't be purchased.  You can spend all the money you want on this game.  The one thing you can't buy is the time needed for the grind.  No matter what you spend, you still have to grind.

No, around 3 weeks, so I haven't met one, this is the first. But if it's like this, I won't be surprised next time😂

There's usually a pack to help people shortcut most things. 

But Angwil is right, it can't fully replace the grind. I mean, a lot of the times the packs aren't even a shortcut, they just give you resources to grind more.
