Pun totally intended, btw. I've watched several videos on the new dungeon, and everybody just glosses over Maeve or completely forget to mention her. Don't we want the boss to go night-night? She has an A1 with 70% chance to place sleep with extra turn if the sleep is placed, and very solid multipliers on her other skills.
What am I missing?
You're missing the fact that ... 70% isn't 100%? And, at the higher stages, if your team isn't built for it, one of her signature moves will be enough to wipe your team?

True, but it is on an A1, meaning no cooldowns. Sure, she's not Siphi, there's RNG involved, but wouldn't 70% with no cooldown make a better bet than 100% on 3 turn CD?
Maybe even with Retaliation gear on....not for late stages, but as a budget version to sleep the boss?
It's not as much of a budget option when Muckstalker exists though. 2 turn sleep on a 2 turn CD and it's a places sleep effect, too.

True, I guess. 2 turn sleep is hard to beat.
BTW, Harima is a beast in that dungeon. Carried me from 10 to comfortably farming lvl15 and slow 16.
