Ascend an artifact 1 time. FOR A DAILY? Where would I get that kind of energy to do that daily? And I'm pretty sure I'm gonna need to train up new toons to do the dungeon since I don't have any leveled up sleep debuffing toons.

Yeah this is just a silly quest. I expect they'll be removing it pretty shortly.

Anyway, I don't think this is a great quest for early game accounts and unlike the Hydra key quest it requires energy to complete rather than just throwing a key into the abyss.

My opinion is now as it's just been released, when we have very little oil it is an issue and you can complain about using energy and a waste of resources
But at some point you will have a large surplus of oils that you can quickly use on low level gear just to do the quest.
