I feel like I probably will end up going for it. This is the first time they've given us a guaranteed way to get a lego which does not require spending money or shards. I have enough stockpiled resources that I can probably bring it down to around 10 sacreds to get it.

If you get Harima during those Sacreds, even better. She's BUSTED 

I am going for it. Popped 12 sacred shards, did a bunch of champ training. 45k points away from Tatura. I'm holding back 5 sacreds for the fusion, but I'm willing to use them if needed.

For my own benefit, what's your definition of "a bunch of champ training"? I'm too lazy to do the math :)

Yep. It's silly.

Cleaned out my food vault, ranked up 2 champs to 60. I'm waaaaay short.

The conversion factor is roughly 2 coins per champion training point. So getting Tatura is like doing 6 champion training events back-to-back (10k points = 20k coins each). Every 5 sacreds you pull takes care of one of them.

I'm not too fussed about the rat king, so I went ahead and pulled my remaining sacreds.

That makes a total of: 

17 sacreds = 76500 points

Champion training done: ~24k points

Champion training to go: ~20k points

EDIT: fixed math. Argh.

20k points over 4 days is more than feasible, even though I'm sitting at 0 mystery shards and my food vault is empty.

Aaaaaand... done.
