I think this champ is actually good, especially as you progress further in the game. And I think the 4* HellHades gives for him in Dragon and 5* in Doom Tower Waves reflects that.

Poison damage on all enemies is not very usefull in early game. Damage based on enemy max hp can't shine early on. If the enemies in lower dungeon stages have only 20k hp and your Athel can hit for 10k, that's allready 50% of their hp and you are not interested in 5% poison stacks.

But in Dragon 25, where enemies in the waves have 250k hp each, 4 x poison on every enemy is a great source of damage.

Wouldn't be surprised if he could solo dragon 20, too.

I also got Yaga and Grappler this weekend, which together with Noct feels like the beginnings of a dot team. :)

Not to dampen your plans, but I want to give you the best advice I can here, so here goes...

Yaga goes in the vault. Please don't build, he's a resource sink, and a huge waste of books. If by the time you are pushing FW21, if you don't have ANYONE else at all.... I will recommend you go farm campaign for extra Graybeards rather than build him.

Grappler goes in the vault too. You'll pull him out before you would Yaga, and only if you are really stuck on Fire Knight and need help breaking down his shields.

But not to worry, Noct looks pretty good.... and even one decent legendary is nice to get so early. It was many months before I pulled a legendary of any kind.

I was thinking about Clan Boss specifically for these. Simply because I don't have any other dotters yet, but by the time I'm able to look to build these no doubt other and potentially better options will have come up. :)

I'm just a noob with very few monsters to choose from at the moment, and not planning to buy shards, so all I can do is try to figure out what use I might get out of the mons I do get from F2P - even if I don't end up evolving some of them. Better that than waste my time wishing for mons I don't have. :)

In the meantime, many thanks for the advice, and will keep an eye out for Greybeard as well. :)

Hey guys, I pulled Noct pretty recently as well - but I want to know for a late game player is he pretty good for Sand Devil? 

The passive seems like it has strong potential for Sand Devil. I don't have a duo comp lined up for SD yet, and I'd like to be more consistent at completing the middle stages (I'm on 16 right now and it's getting pretty dang challenging).

And he's still a core part of almost all of my teams - he's just such a useful champ to have. :)
