I think the promotion is a neat bonus for Prime users. 

I agree, if you are already a prime subscriber then they are free gifts and a nice bonus.

I just pointed out that if a person isn't with prime then they need to work out if it is worth it.

I don't have Genbo, and was just lamenting that to others. So this is a nice bonus for me. lol

Speaking of which, I have a question: how do we get the promo code? I have Amazon Prime, I go to Prime Gaming, it shows my name already, but no clue where to get the promo code. Or do I need to subscribe to it separately?

The advert states that drop one will go live tomorrow, so you will have to wait a few hours until you see it.

The others will drop every 4 weeks or so (read the news page - "You'll be able to obtain each drop via a personalized, one-time-use promo code").

I use amazon a tonne for shoppinng and have prime anyway so a no brainer for me.

I wouldnt sub just for the drops however.

If you already have Prime, do you get the rewards anyway?  I have prime, and while I don't really need the rewards I am just curious whether it's an additional subscription beyond just having Prime

Yes follow the link, you'll already have Prime gaming, it will give you a code with a copy button, paste it in your promo code box and get the reward

Great if you have Prime - if you don't I don't think the rewards are anywhere near enough to encourage players to sign up for Prime
