I just came back to Raid and see a new dungeon (Iron Twins) and a new game building in the main screen. How do these soulstones work?
And did I miss something else in the past 8 months?
short answer: soulstones are used to acquire souls, which are used to awaken champions, which allows you to give your champions blessings.
long answer: blessings are a new mechanic found in the skills tab in your collection. there are 24 total and each one boosts a champions stats as well as giving them new abilities ranging from increasing their damage or strengthening their team's aura to summoning meteors and turning opposing champions into sheep. you get blessings by using souls to awaken your champions. for a more thorough explanation of the exact mechanics behind that, i'd read over the in-game help page. it explains it better than i can.
other changes in the past eight months... hydra got a nerf to make it somewhat easier to deal with. tag arena increased the number of players in each tier. new faction just dropped a few days ago. think thats pretty much everything.
