Exact Same Pack - Different Price

Excuse the difference in image size...

Here is a prime example of Plarium's disgusting business antics. The top picture is the offer made to my account, the bottom picture is an offer for one of my clan mates. Yes, it's only $1 USD off, but why should the price be different at all? Exact same items, exact same quantity, but somehow the prices are different.

Plarium, I will call you out on every single shady offer that you put out. It's likely that it will be every single day. I have sources that give me their offers so I can compare. With more exposure comes more loss trust, and potential lawsuit.

This post, and all my previous posts, are meant to educate newer players on how Plarium operates. Do what you want with your money, but you should know who your money is going to.

This seems to be like a huge bullshit. That definitely has to be overlooked. Kinda feels like a big FU. Simple correction would be to cut off those different priced packs. Simple solution would be to offer one cheaper und another one more expensive variety of packs at the same time.

Best way would be to always offer multiple variants of the same pack with differing amounts of content, providing the player with the choice of which pack they would like to purchase - some players would willingly spend 10-40€/$ but only receive 50€/$+ and hence are not spending at all.

3 different offers could help as they could target low, mid and high paying users. Perhaps, if the packs are not mutually exclusive, mid / high pay users would even purchase more than 1 pack. I can only see benefits, but it seems the people at Plarium responsible for monetization still have to wrap their heads around this.

Hey, ladies and gentlemen! I have reported this one to our payment specialists. This does look weird, we don't set such prices for the same packages on our side. We will take a look at it and try to find out what is going on.

Thank you very much for helping us see this. It appears that this was a minor bug in the prices showing. We have fixed it now. We do appreciate your cooperation here.

You sure? I know my way around coding and such discrepancies don't just "appear" like bugs. The differences had to be either coded, inputted manually or spewed out by some kind of telemetry behavioral algorithm. Please don't take your player base as idiots who can be fed excuses. The packs prices discrepancies have been exposed. The predatory MILKING practice of veteran (paying players) has been noticed by the community. Your move Plarium - but we don't buy the "That's weird - it's probably just a bug" talk. This was and is clearly intentional.

I am convinced that mods have abandoned the forums by seeing how many spam messages exist.

Bumping this thread so newer players can learn more about how Plarium operates.

Hey! I am very sorry for not elaborating on the issue more properly as I should have. There was, indeed, a bug with solely displaying the price differently, we fixed that one. However, when later having investigated this issue deeper, we found out that prices for the same packs may differ depending on the store and local currency. There are a lot of specifics to that, and we are still in the process of finding out more details.
