Lost items when upgrading a champion

So I recently purchased one of the 10 void shard packs and ended up getting two of the same champion that I liked, I equipped my entire set of regen gear X4 that I had been saving and my only 2, 5 star speed gear to said champion. I then used the other champion as food to level the skills of the other. They were both level one and i had no way of knowing which champion had the gear equipped and I didn’t have the money to Unequip the gear so I figured there would be some system to prevent items from just disappearing. Needless to say I used the wrong champion and all of the gear disappeared. 


Is there any way to implement a warning message, or prevent people from using champions with gear attached to them as “food” to prevent this? There was no warning or indication that I would lose items from this.


Also can I be compensated for lost items or returned the items that were lost? I feel like this is a game related issue that needs to be fixed. As a customer who spends a good amount of money on the game I would like at least the lost gear returned..

I'm passing this feedback on, as it would be useful. I have done this a few times and lost some decent gear.

Sorry regarding your request here I can't help. however, I would suggest you open a ticket with support. This can be done in the game, by clicking(or tapping) your gamer ID, then proceed to the tab "info" and use the support button.

I opened a ticket last week and I have been checking pretty consistently for a reply but I haven’t received one. I’ve honestly found it hard to play the game after the setback just because of how excited I was to have a gear set so perfect for the champion. The letdown is hitting me heavily..

Can anyone else help me with this issue? Support says they closed al tickets and when I opened a new one still no reply’s in 4 days

Unfortunately, Support noted that there isn't much that can be done for this situation, though I hope that the 35-day rewards(gear drops) finds you well.

I did not receive any kind of even good gear or champion from my 35-day rewards. I would like to know if there’s any way to get the gear replaced or at least close to it, like an elite 4/5 star regen set with a pair of speed gear also 4/5. The amount of time it took me to collect these items is unprecedented. I have been trying very hard to get something close to it to gear my champion but after a lot of time put into the dungeons campaign, ext. I have yet to get anything as decent as the items I lost. Is there anything else that can be done to make up for this loss from support?
