Skill apparently not doing what it should

Hello guys,

Could anyone clear a doubt for me. My mob's skill says it heals 45% with the skills maxed. Another 5% I can get from masteries. But my mob does not heal 50% of all allies HP. It heals much less. Or do they only consider the MOBS HP and not the hp the mob receives from items? If yes, healing in the game is useless. Just go all lifesteal set.

It's not 15% -> 25% -> 35% -> 45% -> 50%.

It's 15% -> 16,5% -> 18% -> 19,5% -> 20,475%

Sorry to disappoint you.

Wow, really? Then there should be a .(dot) in the description... Woah that is really disappointing. Then I don't think heals is worth here. Not at all. Lifesteal set everything.

Unfortunately, there's been many topics open on this issue. However, the skill upgrade description was never changed.

Same % or % apparently goes for shields as well

Thanks, guys. I was really upset and still am because I invested a couple of books on her. If the description was different I wouldn't have done that. I was mainly looking for a sustain healer. I agree that 50% is OP heals, but 20% just doesn't cut it either. It should be at least 30%

Healers in general are valuable in this game, but % upgrades on % skills are multiplicative, not additive.

The greater a skill's base heal percentage is, the greater is the impact of a percentaged upgrade.

Thenasil for example heals each party member by 25% of his own HP without any upgrades. His skill upgrades are +5% heal, +5%heal, +10% heal and -1 cooldown (which matters a lot).

So his heal improves from 25% of his own HP to 26,25%, to 27,5%, to 30% (to 31,5% from mastery).

A properly equipped/upgraded high level Thenasil easily hits 40.000 HP, which means he would heal 12.600+ HP on all party members every third turn.

thats a good one, but the base heal without any skill upgrades % matters more than the upgrade.Thanks for the heads up.

Thanks guys for the input. It just sucks that it is not clear when it comes to skill upgrades.

Bumping this thread, a really important issue for those that spend real money in the game.

One thing to word it like soo many other games (15% plus a 10% upgrade nearly always means 25% total) but use the 'other' maths (15% + 10% = 16.5%)

But for the description not to show the new number is weird, almost like they want players to buy tome packs thinking that they get a big skill bonus.

That can't be right though, I'm sure the devs & whoever would want their game to be seen as fun & transparent, not come across as a bit unethical.
