Basic Guide: Great Hall

Great Hall

Basics

The Great Hall unlocks at Level 6.

The Great Hall contains various trees of Bonuses tied to specific Stats for each Affinity. Once unlocked, these Bonuses provide global Stat boosts to all Champions belonging to that Affinity. Global boosts apply in every battle your Champions take part in – not just a specific game mode or area.

To unlock Bonuses, you need to earn Medals in the Arena.

Affinity Bonuses

Within the Affinity Bonuses tab of the Great Hall, you will find multiple rows and columns. The rows indicate which Stat that Bonus will affect, while the columns indicate the Affinity.

Upgrading any Bonus will provide a Stat boost to all Champions belonging to that Affinity.

The sum of all the Bonus upgrades you complete makes up the Affinity Bonuses Development Level.

Bonuses

In the Great Hall, you can unlock bonuses for the following 6 Stats:

  • HP
  • ATK
  • DEF
  • C. DMG
  • RESIST
  • ACC

All Bonuses apply to the Champions’ Base Stats.

There are multiple Levels of each Bonus – from 0 to 10 – where 0 is not upgraded at all, and 10 is fully upgraded. A Bonus’ current upgrade Level determines the magnitude of the Bonus it provides.

For example, if you upgrade the Void HP Bonus to Level 1, all Void Champions in your Collection will immediately receive a 2% boost to their MAX HP. Upgrade that Bonus to Level 10 and they’ll receive a 20% boost.

Medals

All Bonuses start at Level 0, and require Medals to be upgraded.

Medals are won by winning Battles in Classic Arena. Each Tier in the Arena gives different types of Medals as rewards:

  • Bronze Classic Arena Tier: Bronze Medals
  • Silver Classic Arena Tier: Silver Medals
  • Gold and Platinum Classic Arena Tiers: Gold Medals

The cost of each Bonus upgrade increases by Level, and higher Level Bonuses can only be upgraded with certain Medals.

  • Level 1 – 3 Bonuses can be upgraded with Bronze, Silver, or Gold Medals
  • Level 4 – 6 Bonuses can only be upgraded with Silver or Gold Medals
  • Level 7 – 10 bonuses can only be upgraded with Gold Medals

You can use more than one type of Medal to upgrade a Bonus – for example, you can pay for a Level 2 Bonus with a combination of Bronze and Silver Medals.

The conversion rate for each Medal type is as follows:

  • 1 Gold Medal = 2 Silver Medals
  • 1 Gold Medal = 4 Bronze Medals
  • 1 Silver Medal = 2 Bronze Medals

Gold Medal Chest

After upgrading all Affinity Bonuses to Level 10, you'll be able to exchange any new and existing Gold Medals you have for Gold Medal Chests. The price for a Gold Medal Chest is 1000 Gold Medals. You can exchange Gold Medals for a Gold Medal Chest once every 48 hours.

The Chest will drop random Charms, as well as Rank 5 or 6 Epic, Legendary, or Mythical Artifacts from the following Artifact sets:

  • Divine Life
  • Divine Offense
  • Divine Critical Rate
  • Divine Speed

Area Bonuses

The Area Bonuses tab of the Great Hall unlocks at Level 50 – the same level that you unlock Live Arena. Once unlocked, these Bonuses provide Stat boosts to all Champions when battling in specific locations.

The sum of all the Bonus upgrades you unlock makes up the Area Bonuses Development Level.

Bonuses

Each Area Bonus slot increases one of the Champions’ Base Stats when fighting in certain locations:

  • HP
  • ATK
  • DEF
  • SPD
  • C. DMG
  • RES
  • ACC
  • Ignore DEF

The areas where you will receive these Stat boosts are as follows:

  • Potion Keeps
  • Faction Wars
  • Ice Golem's Peak
  • Fire Knight's Castle
  • Dragon's Lair
  • Spider's Den
  • Doom Tower
  • Iron Twins Fortress
  • Demon Lord Battles
  • Hydra Battles
  • Sand Devil's Necropolis
  • Phantom Shogun's Grove
  • Cursed City

There are multiple Levels of each Bonus – from 0 to 10 – where 0 is not upgraded at all, and 10 is fully upgraded. A Bonus’ current upgrade Level determines the magnitude of the Bonus it provides.

For example, if you upgrade the Ignore DEF Bonus in Potion Keeps to Level 1, all Champions will receive a 2% boost to their Ignore DEF when battling in that location. Upgrade that Bonus to Level 10 and they’ll receive a 20% boost.

Crests

All Bonuses start at Level 0, and require Crests to be upgraded. Crests are won by winning Battles in Live Arena. Each Tier in the Live Arena gives different types of Crests as rewards:

  • Bronze Live Arena Tier: Bronze Crests
  • Silver Live Arena Tier: Silver Crests
  • Gold Live Arena Tier: Gold Crests

The first 3 levels of any Area Bonus are upgraded with Bronze Crests. Levels 4 to 6 need Silver, and everything else needs Gold. You can also use higher Tier Crests to unlock lower Tier bonuses, so Silver and Gold Crests can be used to unlock a Level 3 bonus for example.

All locations are divided into three Grades:

  • Grade 1 – Potion Keeps, Faction Wars
  • Grade 2 – Ice Golem's Peak, Fire Knight's Castle, Dragon's Lair, Spider's Den, Doom Tower, Iron Twins Fortress
  • Grade 3 – Demon Lord Battles, Hydra Battles, Sand Devil's Necropolis, Phantom Shogun's Grove, Cursed City

The price of each upgrade depends on the Grade. The lower the Grade, the fewer Crests you need for each upgrade.
