Upcoming Changes to Player Achievements
Greetings, Warriors!
As the game is nearing release, we have intensified our efforts to streamline certain features and ensure the best possible experience for our players. We are going to touch upon things to expect in the coming days, so stay tuned.
First, we would like to inform you that Player Achievements are going to see significant changes. As it stands, the feature does not give any significant weight or feeling of an actual achievement to the tasks that are outlined, and we feel that its current form needs to be revamped. Most of the current achievements are going to be removed, leaving the following:
- Change your name
- Change your avatar
- Lock a Hero
- Unlock a Hero
- Connect your account to Plarium ID
- Connect your account to Facebook
- Turn on notifications
These will serve to highlight some minor but useful game elements to the new players. Achievements might get reworked later on, but at the moment it is too early to say anything for certain.
At the same time, a new feature will be introduced to replace the achievements that were lost, with its own set of rewards and requirements. This will ensure new players can still earn similar boons, albeit differently than was originally planned. Due to this, a number of Challenges and rewards for completing Campaign Stages for the first time have been rebalanced as well. And while this may sound intimidating, we are confident that the overall benefits of this change will become obvious when the mystery feature goes live.
This change will take place on January 31st, so be certain to wrap up any Achievements that you are close to completing before that date.
