Android: Device Hibernation Mode Issues
Hey, everyone!
Some of you have already noticed that at the moment, the game does not prevent Android devices from going into hibernation mode even during Battle. This is a temporary issue, and one that could not be fully avoided, unfortunately. As a workaround, we can suggest increasing the Screen Timeout setting on your device to the maximum (or the most convenient) value while Raid is running.
We have discovered the root problem that causes the game to eat up too much of your device's battery even when it is supposed to be hibernating, and it would seem that the same problem is the reason for a significant portion of game crashes on Android. Our team is looking into it right now, and we expect to fully fix it early next week, with Monday being the initial deadline.
However, for the time being, we had to completely remove the cause of the issues described above, which in turn leads to your devices going to sleep whether or not the game is currently running. We apologize for the inconvenience caused and will do our best to resolve the situation ASAP. Note that the game will pause and remain idle for around 15 minutes if the mobile device it's running on goes into hibernation. This means that unless you leave it for more than that, you should be able to continue the battle from wherever you left off after unpausing.
