So, apparently there was an update today, introducing a new item, etchings, which allow for certain buildings to be upgraded beyond what was previously available.  Shortly after the update, the server crashed for a good while, and when it came back up, the etchings and the possible upgrades have all disappeared.  I'm guessing there was some sort of problem doing the update?  So the question is, has this item been scrapped or will we see another attempt to do this update at a later date?

So, is there any way to earn Upgrade Etchings other than having to buy them with rubies?
