…That summer Anne Bonnie lost almost all of her Crew. Her Kraken “Fluffy” and a small group of mad scallywags were the only survivors. One evening, Spaniards, armed to the teeth, surrounded Anne’s old ship planning to attack at the crack of the dawn. Anne and her fearless shipmates were not about to surrender.

Anne had a plan. She thought that if they could make it look as though there were more people aboard her ship than there actually were Spaniards might change their mind and just leave because they did not outnumber Anne’s Crew by a lot. There happened to be some straw on the ship, so Anne’s crew made 100 dummies, dressed them as Pirates, and put them all on deck. With the fist sunrays, the Spanish ship started moving away from Anne’s. They did not dare to mess with a huge Pirate crew…

To this day, Pirates roar with laughter when they hear the story of how Anne Bonnie and a couple of old sea dogs tricked the Spanish King. Anne’s army is huge now. Many Pirate hearts serve their Pirate Queen faithfully. She created a fake army and got her wish.
