Infirmary malfunction

None of the troops I have defending my haven that are killed in a tactical attack show up in the infirmary.  I would like this fixed.  My infirmary is currently at level 13 (guess this was another wasted upgrade).

Do you have a screenshot where it is visible which units were killed in the attack?

This depends on what was killed off. You may revive 30% of a needed 100% which can be confusing. Say you had 3 subs that were killed. 3 subs x 30 % = 90% So you get nothing back. If you lost 4 subs you would have 120% which rounds down to 1 sub returned of the 4 lost. Convoluted maths aye, but another look is; lose 100 bonnies, get 30 back, lose 10 bonnies n get 3 back, lose 3 bonnies and get 0 back. Once it clicks in mind, it is simple to ken.

are you even sure the troops killed were yours and not friends lookouts.. used to confuse me too

If you have not already deleted reports, check  to see who sent you reinforcements on what dates and how many
Also look in harbor at the list of who is defending you now to get a better idea of what goes on

if you are already doing that then disregard my post

This is not correct. I asked several friends who get fireshipped a lot to help me out here. One of them just got hit. He had 5 Bonnies, 2 Grenadiers, and 5 Flying Dutchmen out. Then he got hit: https://prnt.sc/sj165e (the extra units are envoys from friends and allies).

His infirmary after the hit: https://prnt.sc/sj1495.

So, 5 * 0.3 = 1.5 got rounded to 2 (for Bonnies and FDs) and 2 * 0.3 = 0.6 got rounded to 1 (for Grenadiers). Even if the third Grenadier was his, it would be 3 * 0.3 = 0.9, so still rounded up.

These get rounded to the closest integer. So,

  • 1 unit gives 1 * 0.3 = 0.3 -> rounded to 0 free revivals.
  • 2 unit give 2 * 0.3 = 0.6 -> rounded to 1 free revivals.
  • 3 unit give 3 * 0.3 = 0.9 -> rounded to 1 free revivals.
  • 4 unit give 4 * 0.3 = 1.2 -> rounded to 1 free revivals.
  • 5 unit give 5 * 0.3 = 1.5 -> rounded to 2 free revivals.
  • etc.

But, of course, this affects only your own units in your own haven. Nothing else gets revived for free.

There is a deliberate exception though: 1 off unit will round down to zero, even if your infirmary is maxed for 50% off revivals. This was done by Plarium, apparently to avoid some abuse of the system (points won without any units losses).
