All seems fine for me on Plarium maps 1 and 2, so it's likely a problem on your side. Try to clear the cache and reload. If that doesn't help, please specify which platform (Plarium/FB) and server (The Pirate Bay/The Golden Coast/Sirens' Strait) you're playing at, and at which coordinates.

Some arse changed all the isle names ta numbers. I don't care fer it. It makes it farrr more difficult ta figure out what isles to raid from the cap'n's log. Please put the names back.
All facebook players face this problem on all games and servers
Nothing to do with plarium - it is a facebook problem
All inactive havens over 3 years old have had their usernames deleted
maybe a security/privacy issueDane The One said:
I'm not playing through facebook, I'm playing he web based game and I've seen many havens names changed to numbers. Please Plarium bring the names back. Facebook has nothing to do with my game. It's clearly on Plarium.
Plarium is doing it intentionally, with long-abandoned havens. They claim it's a GDPR thing and there's no going back, and they'll keep doing it.

Just the names are being changed to numbers, or they will never be able to use that account again?
Given the official explanation, GDPR, I'm assuming they are ditching all of their data, so they won't be able to log in again. However, this is just my assumption. I'll ask and get back to you with this when I get a definitive answer.

Ty, that's been on my mind for a week now. Kabams guidelines said they would never delete an account that made a money purchase, this is Plarium though :). When I left the game I was never worried about my account, but this changes things.
Kabam was before GDPR. Personally, I think Plarium is misinterpreting GDPR here, like so many do, so it's possible that Kabam still keeps the accounts, but it's also possible that they've changed their policy too.
Keep in mind that we're talking about accounts that have been inactive for 3 years or longer. Do you really plan to leave the game for that long and then return? If yes, just log in once a year and you should be fine.

I have recently lost two Dark Corsairs because of the change from names to numbers. Anyone else experienced this? That would support my assumption that these accounts are really deleted.
K but they still maintain their levels and any buildings or walls. Not a real purge of ALL data on these havens. The above is confirmed: accounts inactive for more than 3 years are fully deleted and their havens get renamed to numbers. If the players want to return, they'll need to start from scratch.

GDPR doesn't care about virtual havens. It's the purge of all the users' data. The haven has nothing personal, once it's stripped of the name that the user gave it and the avatar they've attached to it.
