❗Our new Progress System, the Gear Hub, is now available for everyone! Let’s take a look at what it brings to Mech Arena.
The Gear Hub is split into 8 Tiers, which must be unlocked one by one. Each Tier contains a variety of Mechs and Weapons, which you can acquire using Credits or A-Coins, or through in-app purchases. Acquiring them will earn you Tier Stars. The amount you get will correspond to the Rank of the Mech or Weapon and you’ll also get one Tier Star per Rank increase. Once you've earned a set number of Tier Stars, the next Tier will unlock.
The further you progress through the Tiers, the more Tier Stars you’ll need to unlock the next Tier. Only the Tier Stars earned from content in your highest unlocked Tier count towards the next Tier.
You can still obtain, and use, Mechs and Weapons from a locked Tier via Shop Offers or as Rewards from Events. Just remember that the Tier itself will remain locked, even if you have obtained some of its items.
Don't worry, Mechs and Weapons you’ve already acquired will remain in your Inventory and you can continue using them. The Tier you’ll start in depends on which Mechs and Weapons you already have and their Rank. Any Mechs and Weapons you do not currently have can be obtained through the Gear Hub once you unlock the corresponding Tier.
With the introduction of the Gear Hub, we've standardized the A-Coin costs of obtaining and increasing the Rank of Light, Medium and Heavy Energy Mechs, bringing them all in line with Medium Energy Mechs. We've also made 12 Mechs and 38 Weapons available to obtain with Credits or A-Coins. Start unlocking those Tiers and pick up that Mech or Weapon you've had your eye on!
Finally, we've added Gear Hub Objectives that will help you get used to the new system and act as a guide. You can find them in a new tab alongside Daily and Weekly Objectives. Note: Daily & Weekly Events now have a new title - Daily & Core.
Now, how can you access the Gear Hub? Simply tap on the 'Gear Hub' button in your Hangar, right where the 'Inventory' button used to be.

Good thing I already have all the mechs, weapons and implants I want. Since the gear hub is uselees and I cant understand it, and since greedy Plarium now made it costly to change implants.
So from now on I will only work on the things I got. Good plan Plarium for losing money.

Gear Hub made all the Content that was previously available only for the in-game purchase now available for Resources!
Gear Hub objectives are incorrect for people that previously purchased low chapter weapons or mechs.
For example, objectives like "Obtain 2 Tier II Weapons" should be marked complete for people that already obtained 2 Tier II weapons.
This upgrade changed game for no play to win players Now this game pay for all🤮
The Gear Hub missions need to count things you've already done.
For example, I need to complete the "Obtain 2 Tier II Weapons" and "Obtain 2 Tier II Mechs" -- but I already have 7 Tier II weapons and 3 Tier II mechs. These missions should already be completed for me.
If someone already has ALL of the Tier II weapons and mechs, they won't be able to complete these missions.

Gear hub sucks! Now you have to buy a lot of crap you don't want and you don't need only to unlock the next tier. And that at an insanly high amount of credits, acoins or real money.

The only thing i dont like about the gearhub is all mech and weapons are to expansive i mean 7500 acoin for the em rifle seems like a bit much and also 1500 for panther is wayy too much

Be sure to take part in the Events and complete Objectives, in this way you can obtain some Resources to spend in Gear Hub

I completely agree. This also made the XP useless as all you get is trash along those lines as well. Gear HUB is the worst idea yet for this game. I love playing it.. but no way am I spending the kinda money this Gear HUG is gonna take. I couldn't agree more with you.

No it does not. If you have things already that meet the "Chapter's" quest.. you dont get counted for it. No way will I or anyone with half a brain gonna waste money to do what they already have. That needs fixed first and foremost. The prices that have been on these mechs and weapons is dumbfounding. I hope no one is dumb enough to pay real money at those prices.

All weapons are NOT obtainable for all players. A disruptor 6 is $94 USD. All mechs are priced way over the amount that they had originally been. It's impossible to get acoins to buy the items and the other items cost large amounts of real money which means it's not accessible for many players. Great job Plarium.
