So when you say "balancing the game resource wise" what do you mean exactly?

Does that mean you want people to get javelin rack 8 in this event and later ones will have better compensation again? Does it mean you'll be adding the a-coins back into the economy somewhere else? Or does it mean players were earning a problematic amount of resources for playing the game?

Never seen a-coins be re-added when taken out don't trust plarium need clarification.

How you can balance the resources is have a consistent and easy to follow flow of resources in the game. Is that what you're doing? Someone help me out here.

Can someone PLEASE answer this question? You do understand that the phrase "balancing the game resources wise" doesn't tell us anything, right? How come it takes so long for you guys to answer questions? What makes you think "balancing the game resources wise" is a good enough reason to devalue event tokens when nobody knows what the heck that means?

Newer game modes and events are going to be added in the near future.  For example, clans and free-4-all.  These modes will have their own events which will reward their own prizes.  Additionally, some existing game modes and events are being tweaked based on participation and feedback from the community.

All of this is being carefully monitored and analyzed with matchmaking and player development in mind so players can partake in their desired mech fantasyies without being felt like they are forced to participate in a certain game mode or else they will get left behind.

I highly recommend watching the DEV-Vlogs as there is a lot of good information and some easter eggs in there as well.

Oh my god, finally someone answers the question. Now how about this. How come the change couldn't wait until these new things were implemented?

Also is the removal of weekly 300 a-coin deathmatch mania and second weekly 100 a-coin battlethon in it's place also part of "balancing the game resources wise"?

And can we expect the flow of resources to be fully restored to it's previous rate?

Additionally I have no clue what your dev-vlogs could have told me about resource balancing. Last 1 you did was a month ago because you put them out once in a blue moon.

Hmmm that is actually a difficult question.  From the player perspective, Yes, the changes could have waited and if they were made in a future update you likely would have experience no disruption.

From the development perspective, it is preferrable to get a head-start or lay the ground work for future updates.

With updates most players notice them because game developers will make announcents about new content, new offers, new game modes, etc.  They are typically VERY large file size and can or do require approval to download the new version.

However, in most if not all Updates there are changes that go unannounced because they are meant to be the groundwork for a future update's content.  Also I guess it is worth saying that some content added is removed if the plans change for it and it becomes obsolete.

Making these changes before hand allows any bug issues or compatibility problems with the code to be fixed for portions of the future update before its release.  Otherwise it causes lots of patches and hotfixes to address the issue.  Typically, players only notice patches and hotfixes becuase they require server reboots.

Development Derby events are constantly being tweaked and really have been since I have been a moderator.

-----------------------

That is the plan.  Of course it could always change again and be brought back.

If I tell you all the Easter Eggs then they wouldn't be Easter Eggs.

Okay. I don't know what compatability has to do with the value of event tokens. From my perspective it looks like plarium wanted to de-value them from the get-go but that wasn't happening so instead they've de-valued them prior to the addition of other things to just frustrate players for resources some before they added the resources back into the game through other means. But hey, I'm not a dev.

My question regarding battlethon and deathmatch mania wasn't really answered in a satisfactory manner.

Glad to hear we'll be seeing the resources again. Wish it didn't take so long to get my initial question regarding resource balance answered. Still, thanks for the timely response this time.

So we got the latest update and it's pilots. Resources haven't made their way back into the economy and instead WE HAVE TO SPEND MORE!

Why did you tell me we were getting clans soon and the resources would make their way back into the game that way? Is that still happening? Is it gonna reduce our grind on pilots too? Or did you just lie to me? Where are all the a-coins that were taken from us? Give them back already.
