Can the whole mech arena community give thire opinions

Decision

Um why do they do this bull. Get 5 cards by chance or up grade rank. Then other times it's upgrade rank or pay to finish the event. Events are supposed to help support the game and free to play players. Yet the devs have made a model that dosent support the game or it's players. This is just stupid and bad management. This game has so much going for it yet all i see are game killing decisions. If you want more money then put out more content more often. Examples, new maps, new mechs, new weapons, (skins, but those aren't all that important.) You want to make money off of a-coin sales or at least that's the way it looks. With that in mind you have to change your event model, it's there so players don't fell like they have to pay to ensure steady progression. Instead you have made it clear that you the entire dev team only cares about the money the game brings in. You have lost so many new players to this, players that play long term are more likely to spend money on skins, a-coins, new weapons etc. But you have a free to play game so why have you made it fell like we have to pay for steady progress. You have driven away so many new players with these tactics. The game runs good, looks good, and even plays good. I hope these bad decisions end soon befor I get driven away from the game. If you really want money that bad make it pay to play from the app store and make events more player friendly. This concept can't be that hard to understand. Tho the devs seem immature, or inexperienced if not both.

This isn't even the big problem with this game. There are already 7 free tokens in the halloween crate rush. What I don't like about this event is the missions "upgrade rank" and "get blueprints". The name "specialization spree" and the description "use specific weapons and mechs to succeed" entails the event is about using the weapon. But instead the only way to fully complete the event is by obtaining and/or using hard to acquire resources.

Specialization spree is already restrictive, but the thing is that's fine. It's not realistic that a player is going to have every weapon for every specialization spree. But with the 2 bottom missions, you not only have to have the item unlocked but you have to go through a process of grinding that likely isn't even going to get you through the event. Leaving you stuck to pay if you want the final reward. Greedy aggressive monetization really shitty on plarium's part.

I  dont  agree  with  the  game  being  made  more  friendly  for  FTP.    As  it  is  you  can  easily  get  1000  a  coins  a  week,  free.    This  is  said  so  often  but  it  seems  to  elude  so  many  players  that  have  come  to  think  every  game  should  be  free...  someone  has  to  pay  to  support  development.    The  devs  have  all  the  same  bills  we  do  in  real  life.    Get  over  that  idea  FTP  means  you  get  everything  easy.

the  single  biggest  problem  the  game  has  is  the  crap  matchmaking  where  overpowered  players  (  via  early  purchases  of  advanced  weapons  and  mechs  )  are  Put  up  against  players  way  under  powered  comparing  hangars.    I  play  a  fair  amount  of  2v2  solo  and  i  frequently  see  players  1k  under  my  hangar  strength  and  i  know  it  sucks  for  them.    I  have  experienced  the  same  in  tournament  matches.    It  is  the  crap  matchmaking  that  is  going  to  keep  this  game  from  becoming  what  it  could  be.

Well the pic is just for a reference to similar problems

Look it is a ftp game , so events shuld not have a task for payment . This is my main point , I've put in about 150-175$ into the game. I understand early access to mechs and weapons , and the fact they need to make money. But I don't think you realize that the game as it is isn't or shuldnt be a full time job except for maybe 1 or 2 people at the most, even then the game is passive income. On top of that what I mean by more friendly towards free too play would be less pressure to spend . More specifically new players fell this pressure the most . And because of this they have lost a large group that would have spent money at a later date . Money that is made off games like this largely relies on long term players . Having events that are unfeasible to complete or you have to pay to complete is unfriendly to free too play players , and dosent really support the game . At least it dosent look good .

Plus to address your concerns about matchmaking simply removing bots would fix this . Having 1 or maybe 2 on each team would work . Real players are easy too find and target , and who likes fighting bots anyway . If you have 2 full teams of real players things suddenly change . Players with maxed out weapons and mechs become less effective , and can't just farm bots . On top of that targeting the one real player is no longer a sound strategy , you would be forced to focus on the whole team .

But I will say some questionable business tactics have driven away a lot of players . Making the removal of bots harder , but that's on them . Though if they fix these 2 things I see as problems it might help . And these are my opinions just for the record.

1. Clear tactics to get players to spend in events

2. Overwhelming presence of bots

I understand early access to weapons , mechs every game does this at some point in time . But in my opinion they are expecting too much from something that shuld be passive income .

The matchmaking is the biggest problem with this game!!!!

Some of the prices of mechs and weapons is outrageous IMP.
