Javs are too OP.

Javelins are ruining this game for me. They can not be stopped. So many have javs on killshots and simply can't be caught. There is no defense for this.https://omegle.onl/  I got one hit in a gawdam building, using a jug with armor on.

It's unsporting, unfair, and I can't stand it. At least with a sniper they have to see the person to kill them. But here, if you stay still you don't show on radar and can kill from the other side of the map. LAME

There are defenses but people are not particularly found of them or they require further access to weapons and mechs down the progression path.

I think overall Shadow or Panther are the best direct counters to the issue you are describing.

To be completely honest javs that aren't Op they're fairly easy to out position on top of that you know when they have a lock on you this generally gives you enough time to get behind cover I want to go on a limb and say you have less than 1000 power or your just at 1000 pretty much all this game is about is who can kill the Bots faster you usuly have one real player on each team and 4 bots but some times you get mouthing but bots on the other team it's just a cheese game where you  easy wins

Oh come on. Just admit that this is a problem. Devs could look at statistics in point capture, for example: 2 out of 3 mvp are killshots with 4 level javs. Good luck outposition that fast son of a bastard. It is hilarious at some point 3 mvp's in a match are having javs. Hmm, what may be an issue?

I would love to see how panther can defend from overarching projectile with it's barrier.

And what defenses you are mentioning. Please, an example. About progress: that's all good. But why should I just succumb to guys on killshots with javs, and just wait till I get the right mech or a weapon? This is how fun looks like? Of course you will see more of this configurations, as everybody sees that this is you need to deal damage and get away with it. This is absurd, guys.

I love the game, donate occasionally, but this thing is killing all the fun. Matches are becoming more and more predictable: you have to stay behind the cover, with roof above you, preferably, and pray for half of the javs not clipping through it. And maybe, just maybe, you can inflict damage, if your adversary is careless or distracted. Sounds fun.

Javs are THE MOST FRUSTRATING aspect of this game.

There really is no other major problem, other than the hitbox on killshots dash.

it encourages the trashiest type of gameplay, camping in a safe position to shoot around cover.

especially frustrating during tournament play, there are few maps that have locations which provide adequate cover AND the ability to engage the enemy.

until this issue is addressed j am unwilling to spend money and time on this game. Idoibt

I use a jav6 9n my ares with a missile rack 8 and have to agree. I have learnt to actually curve my shots so accurately that I can hit targets behind buildings, over barriers etc. At my level however, it is mostly to kill sheilds or whittle down powerful enemies. I love the java, but can totally see the.OPs.point and would accept a nerf.

Direct Counters to anyone with Javs.

  • SHADOW - Stealth ability disables lock-ons
  • PANTHER - If you stand directly next to stasis barrier or directly in it, the barrier will block the majority of incoming damage from Javs.
  • ARES/JUGGRENAUT - Use their shield ability when javs are incoming.

Indirect Counters to anyone with Javs.

  • Get good with Long-arms as javs require a set distance to lock onto you.  Longarms will outrange javs. Same is true for mortars.
  • While not applicable on every map knowing how javs curve will help you lure them into buildings/bridges to block damage.
  • If you can block or dodge the first salvo getting in close range prevents Javs from being able to lock onto you.  Pretty much they are a free kill then.

Javs are very strong early game but fall off late game.  Everyone's health is just so high and a 6 energy weapon just doesn't do enough damage to take someone out of the fight.  But yeah, Killshot jav4/6 early is very annoying at times.

If  its  not  overpowered  then how  is  it.  With  my  ares  as  you  say  with  shield  up  and  full  health  which  is  around57k  i  think.  That  i  get  one  shot.  And  maybe  a  second  to  look  around  and    not  see  a  single  person  targeting  me  and  be  under  an  building  i still get  killed.

My avs, which are not fully upgrade have a 30% chance of double damage. I often see 10k damage and higher. I can 2 shot smaller mechs and remove the shield easily of any jug I have played in one go.

Not even close to OP. You need to learn how to play a more strategic game. The only people they are OP to, are the ones who don't know how to play around them.

Your problem, not mine, I avoid them CONSTANTLY.

Figure it out.

They can be annoying. But it really depends on the map becaue they hit ceiling, roofs, & walls a lot. Lag can also create issues as well. But they are by far the coolest weapons you can get in early game.

IMO Killshot with a lvl 4 shotgun is similar to stabbing with a sword & shooting pointblank with buckshot... The most lethal setups you can use in early game.

Yes,  i  think  jav  6  is  the  greatest  out  of  jav  4   and  itself

of course there are counter to jav/killshot but we are not playing 1v1 lol they are people around you that will stop you from using your skills/move further while killshot will kite you.

Wait to people figure out you can curve the new disk launcher just like javs to get people around corners.

Their not as powerful as people might want to pretend they are,

Thye become completely busted if you have a team of friends to support you between shots.

But the moment you get within 16m range, Jav bots are completely defenseless.

Since they only have an effective range of 75m-16m.

The problem isn't in the Javlin,

The problem is Killshot.

Did you know that its special moves so fast that point blank Jav attacks can miss them, even without cover?

Did you know a Maxed out Killshot can instant glib 3* Tanks?

The problem is that the Killshot has way way too much power potential,

Its ability cooldown is so short that it beats 80% of the weapons reloads in recovery time.

You could theoretically do 2-3 Killshot ram attacks, before a weapon can empty its magazine and reload.

Thats enought damage to Kill Several mechs, not including the damage from their weapons.
