Beware the lancer!

A big open secret about games like this is that it's not just the Mech you choose, it's how you use it and how you play the game.

Those of us who have put time, credits and coin into our Lancers do so for reasons, and don't kid yourself, Lancers can be sneaky and DEADLY.

I have had my little mad-cat Lancer take 1st, 2nd and third place numerous times, just a Lancer with a couple of machine guns wrecking havock in various ways.

I think the Lancer is an investment, as new maps may have special spots and perches that only Lancers can get to or into because of their size and those jump jets.

To me, the Shadow is a special-ops Lancer where they traded the jump jets for the stealth ability and better running speed.
