Cheetah Mech Buff

For 4000 acoins, and unlock at 51k xp, I would expect cheetah to be a very strong mech. However, It happens that it is so "squishy" even pro youtube players don't use it. I think if you were to give it one of the following buffs, it would become quite devastating, and not the exotic toy it is now. 

1. you increase the health to the same level as lancer, paragon, and md. (right now it starts at a whooping 23,000 which will get you killed in a matter of seconds. 

2. you make the mines permanent. (right now they disappear after approximately 30 seconds) 

3. you make to so that cheetah can lay multiple mines on the field at a time. (right now 3 is the limit) 

I personally don't have a cheetah yet because I've heard its a very poor mech. Its too bad though, because I think it would be a very fun mech to play with. I just cant spend 4000+ acoins on something I won't even use in the tournament.

Darn the next mech i get is a flop well atleast i can get my jug out of my hanger and i was curious why i never see them.

Yes, it is unfortunate. For a 4 star mech that drops mines, it should really be quite powerful. 

And it looks amazing too lol

So i was watching some videos with this mech and i see the issue mines drop really close to the mech so without a elevation difference to cast them down from they require you to get really close and use alot of cover. There isnt enough maps that really allow you to do this effectively without becoming sniper bait. 

Possible fixes would be more health but id recommend that the mine damage is decreased to compensate for the increased health so they can still balance out with other mechs since those mines stack up quick and hit pretty hard

Another possible fix would be to increase the range of those mines and im kinda liking the idea of making them sticky as well to add some fun to the mech. Mines as they are are very noticeable and allowing them to stick to a surface might allow players to get creative on placing them 

Lastly i would increase the timer on them doesnt have to be much 45secs would work better ive heard they only last 30

I  have  the  Cheetah.  It  has  serious  limitatoons,  that  is  all  too  true!  I  agree  tha  number  of  mines  and  limited  life  are  issues  and  have  brought  that  fact  to  the  attention  of  the  developers  to  no  avail.  In  order  to  be  effective  there  should  not  be  a  limit  to  the  lifespan  of  the  mines  though  the  time  lapse  governing  deployment  is  a  needed  restriction.  The  distance  isnt  really  an  issue  and  an  understandable  limitation.  I  have  used  this  mech  somewhat  effectively and  agree  the  armor  is  lacking.  That  is mentioned  as  a  trait  so  wont  fuss  about  that  too  much.  To  the  number  of  mines,  had  I  realized  the  three  mine  limit  I  would  not  have  purchased  it.  That  was  my  initial  complaint  to  the  developers.  The  sole  purpose  and  object  of  mining  is  area  denial  and  perimeter protection  neither  of  which  is  accomplished  with  the  three  mine  limit.  A  permanent  mine  evn  after  destruction  of  the  Cheeth  and  a  six  mine  limit  would  be  adequate.  This  would  prohibit  mining  willy  nilly  which  would  detract  from  the  game .  However,  with  the  introduction  of  a  "permanen  mine  there  must  be  a  "recall "  option  so  you  could  eliminate an  unwanted  or  mistaken  placement  of  said  mine .  Any  two  or  three  of  these  modifications  would  greatly  enhance  the  viability  of  the  Cheetah.  Only  hope  the  developers  heed  our  wishes!

I finally got the cheetah yesterday. 

And yes, the mine limit really does need to be raised. 

right now, at least, it is a decent mech, but a 4 star mech should be much better.

Does  anyone  send  these  suggestions  to  MA  through  the  feedback  thread?  I  worry  those  guys  to  death.  Hasnt  done  a  lot  of  goo  so  far .  You  get  a  lot  of  form  letters  but  sometimes  you  get  a  tailored  reply  so  I  know  they  at  least  read  some.  I  suspect  if  enough  folks  ask  about  a  mine  limit  increase  it  could  happen.

Honestly, the damage on those mines are deadly in heavy corner maps.  Any more mines, large damage radius, or ability cooldown would push them over the edge.  I tried it out and it might be my new favorite mech in 2v2 deathmatch and tournaments.

The close quarter fights make it so easy for the mines to go unnoticed and get triggered.  Equip both the Rocket 6 weapons and the burst is insane with little chance to react.  It is definetly not an open planes map but for smaller maps it might be king.

Probably the next mech I will do a guide on because it is so misunderstood.
