I think you've got some great points in here, many good suggestions to improve the game for all. Of course the Developers will treat those of us who spend little with less regard than those that spend a lot. The SMARTEST part of Mech Arena are the little psychological tricks the Devs use to induce F.O.M.O. Mech Arena is the most clear example of THE CONTINUAL UPGRADE FALLACY -Players get caught in a trap in striving to always be upgrading & increasing their power level. This is especially dangerous ground for those of us who aren't able to invest vast sums of cash into the game.
Unfortunately I'm a little jaded by the constant sniping between FtP & PtP player bases: personally, I believe if you want the best life has to offer, it's reasonable to assume that will cost you sometimes. I don't claim to be FtP, I purchased Lacewing & Overdrivers, & was gifted 4k acoins by my girlfriend. However I do claim to be a 'Grinder' - I make occasional modest purchases & supplement that with effort. I think its fair to say that I think like an FtP player, I have certainly never thought a solution to a gaming issue is to throw $ at it. HOWEVER I grew up paying for my games, before in-game purchses & 'gacha' mechanics. So I feel the idea of a completely FREE, yet also GOOD Video Game is rather absurd. Someone has to foot the bill.
There's really no proper 'line' dividing FtP & PtP players, esp since they can purchse the Acoins to buy the credits needed to buy Storm Racks, Revoker 6's etc - & it would appear they are FtP.
In conclusion I feel strongly that both camps of player need to develop more appreciation for the other, because we're all into the same activity & we all bring something to the table - I think many of your suggestions would be more likely to be adopted if they weren't presented as partisan favouring of the FtP players, & there's several good reasons why, which I won't expound upon here, suffice to say "Those who Pay the Piper get to Call the Tune." That will never change.
