Hello! The reason for such an issue is an imperfection of our Matchmaking system: due to the flexible balance and abusers who are trying to find loopholes in the system, you can be paired with or against inappropriate players. We are actively working on the adjustments for the system, and more tests are yet to be completed 👌
At this moment, we recommend shuffling your Hangar a bit and teaming up with your friends who have approximately the same SP as you. Try to make Matchmaking work for you!
Hey, lets just be honest here, no amount of "shuffling your hanger" is ever going to get a tier 3 player able to play against top tier mechs. As this has been a major problem for nearly a year, I think we need a different default answer.
Changing even the tiniest elements of your Hangar can significantly change the work of the Matchmaking system. I've tried it multiple times myself, especially when it comes to the Mods.

??? I am here since this game started. The true reason why the matchmaking is so imperfect is - YOU WANT IT THAT WAY. So simple. On this forum there is so many topics about this issue ... and what changed? Nothing. Ah .. yes something realy changed - new robots and weapons. This game always goes like this ... Any serious problem? Lets give them another weapon and robot, who cares ... CrystalDrew even you have so many post in so many topics about this issue. Aren´t you tired by now to posts same lies all the time?

I have never shared any lies. Adding new Weapons and Mechs is in no way related to the Matchmaking system, and their development is the responsibility of a different team. Indeed, the work on improvements has been in progress for quite a time, but it's still in progress. Expect more Tournament Matchmaking tests soon!
"Shuffle your hangar" is you don't stop the nonsense as a community manager! So your telling us I'm matched against a dude with a 35k hangar and shuffling my 12k is gonna make a difference? Absolutely pathetic attempt at trying to deflect the issue.
Hello! As your SP is one of the key factors of work for the Matchmaking system, even slight changes may affect its performance. I have tried it myself multiple times, and to put it bluntly, some of the versions of my Hangar didn't work well for me, especially when I acquired the Mods for only one Mech. Still, I succeeded in tuning my Squad in a proper way, and I hope you'll gain success as well 😉

Hangar power goes up to 35k? Really? Seems I'm unaware of such a thing. Please share a screenshot of this person with 35k hangar power that you fought, I'm truly curious.
Unless, of course, you're confounding "Inventory Power" and "Squad Power", which are totally different things. Inventory power is the sum total of the power ratings of all your mechs, weapons and mods combined, and has no effect on matchmaking. Squad Power is the total power of the mechs, weapons, pilots, mods etc. that you bring into battle, and is what influences matchmaking.
Drew isn't deflecting the issue, he's simply saying that there are a few permutations and combinations of mechs and weapons you can field in an hangar that will end up matching you against stronger (or weaker) opponents. If you have a single build with a rank 6 Eclipse with rank 6 weapons and the rest of your hangar is rank 4 or rank 5, then you're gonna be matchmade against people with rank 6 equipment and that will obviously be an unfair fight. But if you switch up things so that all your power is not concentrated in a single build, then you might face more equal mathmaking. Drew has no say in how the matchmaking algorithm works, but he's still trying to be helpful in his own way without even seeing your hangar; it's an answer he has come upon after facing a similar issue himself.
You're free to disagree, of course; everyone is entitled to their own opinion regardless of hw right or wrong they might be, or how far from facts their assumptions and statements are. However, please make sure that you don't break the rules of the forum while disagreeing with someone, since that might lead to unfortunate circumstances :)

In my experience, this is simply not true. If you drop every other mech in your hangar, you get weaker oponents for your one maxed out mech, and before you respond, I am a wale. Yes it needs fixing.

You know what? I would believe you, but I've been in this game for three years and I can see it based on how the game is developing. You just can't fix matchmaking and that's why even though I don't play with mods, I'm still getting fully modded enemies against you for whom I'm an absolutely irrelevant risk in the game. And clearly bots and weapons aren't part of matchmaking, but when you don't know what to do anymore, you quickly add a new mech and a weapon to the game. That's what it's all about. That there are serious overlooked issues in the game that destroy players' desire to play and continue, you don't care. You've simply got the game in such a sorry state that to make a mech that can somehow hold its own against enemies costs the player as much as if they had to buy a Ferrari as their first car just to get on the highway in the first place. You've been unchained and you don't know how to get out of it. You're even so shameless that you can't even just add mods to the Season pass. You know what, I'll give you some advice. Create a new account in Mech Arena and go from scratch and calculate how much money and time it will cost you to build a robot that somehow will be able to play something in the game. Then come back and wise up, I'll be happy to see your numbers. These are the FACTS that S1lence points out, but which he doesn't have and makes up as he goes along.
Matchmaking is just terrible! 2 players +bots against an entire team of real players? What a sad joke yous play on your community to push sales. Your AI training "Matchmaking tests" aren't going to fix the matchmaking disaster you've created, the only thing that will fix matchmaking is if you tone down your relentless greed, we all know that won't happen because greed has turned you all into careless evil scammers! If yous need to ruin my experience in every damn match, then I'll pass it along to the other players by backing out of these rigged cheating matches! Again, your so called matchmaking tests aren't to improve matchmaking, it only has us players training your AI bot system.
I tried the AI training thing earlier today so I can earn the acoins at the end, after I completed level 3 on the one where you have to play as killshot, it wants me to buy a weapon I don't have in order to play level 4... I can't win for losing... so bogus man. I've been playing for almost 3 years. You want us to train your A.I., but we have to pay for it. Booooo!!
