Matchmaking is, and always will be, a work in progress. There's no perfect matchmaking algorithm. While I find it unlikely that you with 1000 SP get matched against a seeker with 20000 SP (which is what I'm assuming you mean when you say 'combat effectiveness'), I can still understand the frustration you feel in a situation like that. Almost everyone has been in a situation like that. Not all matches will be this frustrating and one sided, and as you move up in SP, the matches start getting fairer.
At the end of the day, it's just another game. There's no reason to take it seriously at all. Take a page out of Marie Kondo's playbook- if something doesn't spark joy, just throw it out.
what you say makes no sense because I'm here after just 2 lost games, and coincidentally defeated in both games by newcomers, I've been in the game for 2 years and 10 years in Plrium, but I'm treated like garbage, and since you introduced the MODs, that you lost 70% of the veteran players, that you are defeated by newcomers.. I observe every game but in these last 2 months things have gotten worse beyond belief, it's very obvious that the games are manipulated. and managed by the AI. You can say and do what you want, but don't try to make us look like stupid humans.. we are your salary, but apparently you do nothing to give us fun... only unlikely tests, and frustration with your A.I. too effective, that doesn't let you play. best wishes

Believe whatever you want to believe, then. I can show you the water, I cannot force you to drink it after all. If raging against a game and thinking yourself as a victim of circumstances is what makes you happy, by all means, go for it. The fact of the matter, however, is that your experiences are not the norm. Contrary to what you seem to believe, 70% of the 'veteran' playerbase has not vanished overnight; I'd know since I am one of those players myself. Neither do they all get defeated by newcomers. The disproportinate performance of your AI vs the opponent's AI does *feel* like the games are manipulated, but ask yourself this- why is okay for the opponent's AI to underperform so that you win matches but you cry wolf when it happens to you? As for me trying to make you look like stupid humans, well, what do I have to gain from that anyway?
P.S you do not pay my salary. I'm a volunteer who does this cuz I feel like doing it. You can spend no money or a billion dollars on the game and it would not matter to me.
