Incoming: More stuff you need to buy to be competitive
iThat's right. Mech Arena is going the way of war robots and adding more and more stuff you need to buy to stay competitive. With the extremity to which pilots buff your mechs, it is only logical to assume mods, which aren't modifiers, will be massive difference makers. We can also assume having a similar name to modifiers (god it's confusing), mods will not be global. The paid modifiers that players were suspecting and fearing would be coming.
I expected this but I have told devs on 3 different occasions, do not become war robots. I'm extremely disappointed. Please cancel the update and please don't ask me to give this update a chance. I gave the pilots update a chance and it did exactly what I feared and I have more fears to add to this update making perfectly balanced items overpowered. It took you months to years to fix the results of that. And then because the pilots update was worse than I though, there's that new fear I get to add too. Oh by the way, are we going to have a system with mods of paying to recustomize we have to beg to get you to change again? Are you introducing this to keep a system of the like in the game?
Seriously, I don't wanna find out how bad this update can be. And I doubt you could tell me I would feel any way about the update that isn't that it's as bad or worse than I thought.
