Seeker on Free For All is unfair

Here is the thing.  Seeker is a mech target another mech and teleport.  It is little unfair that player using seeker hide in a safe place and target the leader of Free For All game mode.   It teleport with a shield as well.  I am quick to respond in this game, but on free for all mode, I get pick on by this unfairness.  It would be nice if a little balance to bring to the Seeker on free for all.  Other game mode it is fine, Just the free for all needed a little fine t.une.

Thank you.

Hello! If you are quick enough and have a good reaction, just quickly turn around when you see the sign that shows that Seeker is coming. Make its teleportation its weakness. Learn more about Seeker and its cons in this video:

That's nice and all, but (and I can't think of the exact map name per se) on the first free for all map, where we drop in from a spawn point, Seeker can hide out and never drop in.  Thus he spends 1/2 his time in a completely safe spot.  He can pick his times and places to teleport out and kill someone.  It's unfair.

Much like Gothlxkin said, the issue I have with players using Seeker during FFA tournaments is the exploit on Freeside where they never come down the ramp on to the battlefield. They teleport from up top, attack an opponent, then teleport back to the top so they are technically off the playfield/map. No other mech can get back to the top of the ramp. I've seen several players do this and absolutely dominate rounds because of it. That needs to be fixed asap.

When you are facing other attacking mechs, the maybe coming teleporting mech is NOT your first focus.  That is why I am pointing out FFA game mode.  There is no issue on other game mode.

Seeker is no different than any other camper. The bonus is they come to you. You can see their target on you before they teleport. Just anticipate and kill them when they do.

I have Seeker and I've been killed multiple times doing this exact thing because people still spawn in that spot. Plus if you know where they are coming from you can shoot up into the spawn spot.

Player respawn on that spot is NOT the issue.  New mech can only respawn to an empty spawn spot.  The respawn mech has to be done in between Seekers warp out time.  I have killed number of seekers in different mode.  The issue is that Seeker players can take their time to hide and pick on targets, especially when the leader being alone just after a fight.  This make it has a unfair advantage on FFA mode.

Almost all other mechs and weapons I can find a way to deal against.  But this able to hide and be almost totally safe on FFA from spawn is somewhat unfair.

Here's a thought.  We know they have walls that can push a mech on other maps and that those moveable walls can have a timer added to them.  So what about adding in a pushing wall at the spawn point that moves 5 sec after a mech spawns into that point.
