The thruth about the SP cheating problem? MA is dying?
When this problem started, SP cheating was done by a niche community in MA. As time goes on, complaints seem to grow in number. However, I don't believe the number of sp cheaters has grown much. I think it's more so that the proportion pf SP cheaters to the greater community. That means a dwindling player base. Which is also why matchmaking has gotten worse and plarium added the cryo javelin 12 to the invitation rewards.
What I figure is while a small but noticeable portion of us vocally quit recently because of just unabashed greed, a much larger portion quietly quit. So we have a dwindling player base with a greater portion of the big spenders and sp cheaters remaining. As the problem worsens, plarium can only entice you to rope your friends into MA. No they can't undo any of the changes that pissed you off and made you quit in the first place, because all those changes were "necessary" (with no clear explanation as to why), disregarding that having players is necessary, unless you intend to make all your money off whales. But that also disregards they only stay if people are playing. Not that plarium would know they don't make games. Also reversing changes that were "necessary" means plarium would have to go back on their word and it would prove the changes not necessary and plarium doesn't want to admit to lying. And even if they did undo bad changes now, it would probably be too little, too late.
So that's what I think. Mech Arena is dying and plarium is killing it because they're too greedy and prideful to do anything meaningful about it. But hey, that's just a theory, A FAKE GAME THEORY
