With all due respect, you do not understand my frustration. I was recruited into this game by my 9 yo nephew and he also recruited my sister (his mom), his step dad, my son, and my daughter. We used to play this game as a family affair and it was a huge amount of fun. The systematic bad changes have resulted in me being the last man standing. My sister and her husband are both attorneys and dropped decent $$ into the game, as did I on all 6 accounts. We spent $ on Mech Arena for birthday gifts and I even used to grind achievements as a small way of saying "I love you" to my kids or even nephew.
That being said, I am not employed by Plarium and you are. It is your responsibility to ensure that changes are done for the benefit of the whole community. I don't care what it takes, if you see an upcoming change that will cause many players to leave (i.e. implant discount removal), you owe it to the community to STOP the developers from making such mistakes. Obviously, you do not own the company, but HONESTLY man.... you are on the forums constantly telling the players what we don't want to hear. Please do not pretend to understand. THe player base has not asked for something unreasonable (i.e. give us all mechs/weapons for free). We have warned you that losing players is also lost revenue. Lost revenue is not good for the company nor the community. It really isn't that hard to come up with solutions that are win-win rather than win-lose. I told you plainly that you should have kept the implant discount as an option for the golden pass. Watch your sales go through the roof as you add customization as an option to players.
The developers need to focus on EVERY update being one that (1) enhances current experience (2) attacts more players (3) does not break current economy/system.
I'm sure you are a good person IRL, but the job performance is honestly poor, man. I cannot speak for anyone but myself and my family. With just my one unit, you've lost a potential huge score of $$. When you multiply that over the large stretch of player base, it is not a small amount of money we're talking about. Believe me, we are trying to help you to improve with this feedback.
