Question on Bot Movement.
We all know that bots currently have some "challenges" that the Devs say they are addressing. But I'm wondering what happened to the AI logic regarding bot movement. In the last patch or two, it seems to have gotten worse. I'm wondering if it actually changed, or if I'm just noticing it more?
For example, it seems like there's a giant electromagnet attached to be mech's behind that attracts bots like a fly to honey. The bots no longer make ANY attempt to walk around you, they simply INSIST on walking THROUGH you. Sometimes I try to step back to put some more distance between myself and an enemy, only to find I cannot b3ecause there's a bot getting "friendly" with my mech's backside, totally preventing me from moving backwards. Other times I'm standing in the open, and I have to back up, let them pass, then step forward again. Often this will happen when I'm standing behind a corner using it for cover. I step out to fire, and then cannot step back because the bot that has been following the wall and ran into me and is attempting to walk through me from the side stepped out with me, and is now blocking me from stepping back. They will NOT attempt to navigate around me, they just keep walking into me as long as I stand there. And sometime they actually push me sideways into the line of enemy fire.
I think they have totally lost any form of player avoidance logic.
So again the question is... "Has something actualy changed, or am I just noticing (and getting annoyed with it) more?"
