As an old player, I have always hated that some of the weapons and mechs were hidden behind a pay wall. Although this new system seems to be a blessing for free to play players, it doesn't seem that old players have got it https://vlc.onl/ . Any idea when we will get it, that is IF we get it?
Hello! Of course, you will get it! But, currently, the feature is under development. A restricted number of players are in a testing group of this feature, but it can be changed/reworked till its full release.

I do appreciate what you are saying here. As a computer programmer, I get it. That being said, please understand that this is affecting players currently. For myself, it is creating a lot of anxiety as I try to figure out if I should spend my limited resources on upgrading a mech or weapon now because it'll be months until this feature is made available or should I save those resources because the change is happening within the next month and that equipment will be replaced almost immediately after this feature is made available for all players. Is it cheaper to upgrade something now vs. later? Will I have enough resources (especially A-Coins) to let me field a competitive team for my tier?
I play the game on PC, so I don't get any resources for the advertisements that mobile players get. As a result, I'm limited to about 2000 A-Coins a month (excluding tournaments, which is always iffy).
I've been very "go with the flow" until now. However, I'm starting to realize that in the last month or so I'm developing an unhealthy level of concern and anxiety over every decision in the game. I'm snapping at people if they speak to me while I'm playing. It used to not be this way, I wasn't so worried about every single match and what the impact was going to be on my overall ability to play this game. I usually HATE PVP games, but I seem to really enjoy this one.
I'm not saying that everything comes back to knowing when this update will drop or not, I'm not that vain or stupid. I am saying that it is a contributing factor though.
