Hello! We are currently working on the Matchmaking system. Now, if a player drops their SP, they will be soon penalized. It's already reduced the number of violators and we hope that their amount will decrease dramatically!

This isn't an sp dropping concern. The matchmaking is so bad that players are up against others who are 3-4k higher in sp. That 6.7k player will get an easy battle, get a 9k+ opponent within a battle or two, a possible same sp opponent (very rare), and then back to a low sp player. It's an endless loop of matchmaking absurdity. Been this way since at least the beginning of the year with no improvement. The game is extremely unbalanced...

Sp dropping has become popular because it's nearly impossible to get a fair opponent with the bad matchmaking, overpowered bots for most players' sp, poor tournament setup, etc.  Penalizing sp droppers is only putting a band aid on the effect and not addressing the root cause. The devs have basically created the mess...

Our Matchmaking picks players with approximately the same Hangar Power. When it's a lack of them, it can include bots. It doesn't work perfectly yet, but still, it works much better due to numerous improvements that we are constantly working on. Nevertheless, due to abusers who adopt really quickly, there could happen the described issues. Still, we are working on it!

Bro, just pair people against one another if they are +/- 500 hangar power difference (bots fill in empty spots. This isn't that hard. I have ~2500-3000 SP and FREQUENTLY get paired against players and bots with 4000-5000 SP. There is a huge advantage for being almost double someone else's SP. Mechs that are in the hangar of these people have 24+ energy (which allows them to double equip massive weapons) and wipe the map of people easily.

I love how everyone complaining about matchmaking makes you people ignore them in favor of nerfing EM rifle (which also has the community in an uproar.

Matchmaking SHOULD be your priority. What are your coders doing over there?

Define 'approximate'? I'm 9k and my opponent sp ranges from 6k, all the way up to 13k, while making no hangar changes. To me and most everyone else, that's not approximate. Approximate would be plus or minus 5% of someone's true hangar sp, not plus or minus 50% and whoever happens to be online, looking for a battle🤦‍♂️

On a percentage scale, lower than me sp hangars are encountering the same bs, as evidenced by the hundreds, possibly thousands, of screenshots on your official Discord server that have been accumulating for close to 6 months. There's been ZERO improvement. This is the lie that keeps being perpetuated...

The devs are good graphics designers, but they obviously can't do math or code anything related to it...

wrecker and Kuriboh are both very on point. Most players are WAY less concerned about players who drop their SP to same level as they are fighting players with substantially more SP. It is VERY common to have players with 1k more SP and not even rare to fight players with 2-3k more SP. In fact, if you play 10+ matches in a day, which many players do, you'll likely have this happen at least once if not multiple times.

Most players are way less concerned about players who drop their SP, as we did a fix that reduced a large amount of such abuse. Nevertheless, there are still players who are trying to abuse the Matchmaking system that affects and disbalances it.

This post has nothing to do with sp dropping! You continue to ignore the main concern which is the great disparity in the matchmaking. Again, there is nothing 'approximate' about it 🤦‍♂️ take your own advice you give others and reread what the poster said and all the replies, including mine since we never get a straight answer....
